• Spacious historic home

  This is a terrific location for multiple couples or a small group. The newly renovated home has a great kitchen and a spectacular master bathroom. Neighborhood isn’t really conducive to walking around but we never felt unsafe. Our host was very responsive. We will definitely look to book here again for future trips

• Spacious renovated historic home

  This charming house has been nicely renovated with some terrific amenities. The kitchen and master bathroom are spectacular. This is a great place for small groups headed to the bourbon trail. We surprisingly did not run out of hot water for showers despite 6 adults staying there.

  Note: this is a jewel in the middle of an older neighborhood.

• Huge Potential, Almost There!

  When you first pull up, it does not look like the best neighborhood in the city by far, but once you get inside, you see a massive amount of space in a three-story house that has been fixed up very nicely. We left two bedrooms unused and had a group of six people, so it’s great for bigger groups of travelers.The imperfections though were annoying. we had an alarm system that never stopped buzzing (even after someone stopped out early, they didn’t know we would be there yet), the washing machine did not work properly, and it looks like the cleaning especially in the bathrooms was not thorough at all. The kitchenware was also very beat up, and we actually left a coffee maker behind because the property managers did not incidate if there was one in the unit. Turns out there was … and it made cold Keurig coffee. That’s not to completely cast cold water on this. The bathrooms are super spacious and nice, there’s tons of space to do tons of things, you are close to downtown Louisville which gives you a lot to do, and as long as you avoid the Watterson at rush hour, you are not far from anywhere in town. That is why I gave this the review I did. With some minor improvements, this goes from an already nicely fixed up average stay to a great place. It’s SO CLOSE!

• Large historic home

  The house itself is perfect for large groups. We had a party of 7 enjoy the tall ceilings, historic red brick and renovated fixtures. The neighborhood isn't walking friendly but we never felt unsafe. I would not hesitate to come back, actually I'm already planning the next trip.

• Great house with lots of room

  A group of women stayed here for a long weekend tennis tournament. The home is newly renovated with a wonderful spacious kitchen and gorgous master bath. With numerous women, many of us wanted our own space for sleeping. This large house was perfect and not far from downtown Louisville for dinner and activities. Taylor, the host was very attentive to our needs and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
