• Great location, great potential!

  Great location great potential! Loved all the cozy blankets, games, well stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks. Can’t wait to see what the backyard will be come. Adding a drying mat and a sponge for the kitchen, tall storage in the bedrooms and hooks on the walls in the bathroom and possibly the bedrooms where you can are our only comments.

• Convenient Location

  The house was easy to find and access.

  The house was just as advertised; clean, spatious and well stocked with essentials.

  While we were conveniently located to bars, restuarants and shopping, the house was quiet and enabled us to relax.

  I'd recommend this property.

• Everything You Could Need

  This place was exactly as described and everything we needed! All of the snacks and drinks was a great added touch we weren’t expecting, would definitely stay here again!

• Terrible Manager and House Smelled of Gas

  The first issue is that any time you used the dryer or the stove the whole house reeked of gas. The second issue is how completely downright rude the property manager is. Don’t ask him for anything because it “isn’t a priority for him” There are also major issues with the cleaning process. It appears the cleaning crew just doesn’t even clean areas of the house in between guests. It was a nice house but the gas issues, property manager, and cleanliness will cause me to never recommend or stay here again.

• Has potential, very disappointed. Will not comfortably accommodate 12

  At first glance, the neighborhood looked very run down. There was almost no place to park and the streets were very narrow. When we opened the door, we saw a cool living room with games and things to do, but then found spilled drinks everywhere and left over party decorations from the previous tenants. We walked down the hallway towards the kitchen and noticed stains all over the walls from the previous tenants. There were mounds of pet hair all over the floor, stuck in the vents and all over the baseboards. We got into the kitchen to find grease stains all over the stove and microwave and stains all over the wall like someone poured coffee down it. We immediately called the contact for the property and he promptly called me back. I explained everything we were seeing and he was very apologetic. He offered us some sort of refund but I said, "Let me send you some pictures and we can discuss it from there." I never heard back from him and no refund was given.The place was very hot. The AC unit was either undersized or poorly maintained because the average temp in the house was 80 degrees during the day. The kids sleeping on the top bunk beds were sweating as they attempted to sleep. Sometime during the middle of the night, it finally caught up and turned off. I understand the house is old, which is part of the reason we wanted to rent it, but at the same time, it needs to be comfortable for the guests.There were very few window coverings. One of the bedrooms had none, neither did the hallway or kitchen. The hallway windows had a clear visual into the bedrooms which made it extremely uncomfortable to try and sleep. We had to put extra pillows in our window because the neighbor has a light on their house that shines directly into the room.They left us a total of 8 towels for 6 people. They were all the same color and got mixed up so we figured, no problem, we will just do a load of wash. Well, the wash machine was inoperable. Reached out to the contact and he responded with he knew it was broken and the part was on order. We ended up having to go to Target so we had "clean" towels to use.The kitchen was spacious but only sat 3 at the very small table. There were only a hand full of utensils so we had to wash dishes after every meal. The bunk beds were very misleading as well. They were cheap and the bolts holding them together kept falling out making it unsafe to sleep in.We ended up leaving a day early. I would NOT recommend this property.

  Owners response: "Jonathan, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you.
  - We have put up curtains so that the sun does not shine on the thermostat which will resolve the issue of the AC not coming on when it should.
  - We did talk about a refund and I would have been happy to send it to you, but I did not hear back from you when you said you would contact me. I'm sorry you felt like you didn't get taken care of.
