Clean house and relaxing area to stay.
5/5 Very clean house inside. The basement is being renovated and there was building debris outside. The walkway to the dock is in need of repair, some sections are falling apart. The house could use some games and puzzles when it rains, or even extra stuff like a canoe or kayak for the lake. The house isn't far from local restaurants or the grocery store. Convenient location to land between the lakes and other local sites. Enjoyed being on the lake and the beautiful views. All in all, the house is very clean and it is a very relaxing area to stay.

Nice House on Lake Barkley
4/5 The house was clean on the inside and updated and had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It was nice having a beautiful view of lake. There is wifi and direct TV if you watch tv. The driveway Is steep and hard to turn around if you have a truck or large SUV.
Just letting you know, there are NO extra amenities available, for example; khakis, fishing gear or chairs to sit out on the dock to enjoy. There were also no games or puzzles available. The house is completely empty of anything extra. I have stayed at other rentals and there were amenities to enjoy.
Unfortunately, the basement is being renovated, and there was debris left outside and a old refrigerator and AC units stacked outside. Be careful walking to the dock, some of the walkway is falling apart.

Owner's Response: "Hi Carrie, we appreciate your suggestions on areas of improvement. The basement renovations will be complete within two weeks. Once completed, our home will offer a game room with a ping pong table, puzzles, books, and more games! Additionally, we will be adding another bedroom and bathroom. We would like to note that we are actively looking into all of your concerns and plan to make the appropriate changes where necessary. Thank you for your valuable feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon so that you can enjoy the new additions our home has to offer!"

5/5 We had a fantastic stay at this house! Everything that we needed was there and the owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had! I would definitely rent this house again!
