Tucked away deep in the woods of Beattyville, Kentucky, this 1-bath studio cabin supplies everything you'll need for an adventurous visit to the Red River Gorge. Aptly suited for travelers looking to get off the grid and live amongst nature, this vacation rental runs solely on a generator, and offers the prime opportunity to totally unplug from the outside world. After a day spent traversing the Natural Bridge Trail, come home to stargazing, s'mores, and ghost stories around the fire pit.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little cabin. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire pit while relaxing outside under the stars. Short drive during the day to different trails.

I picked this property specifically for the remoteness and off grid aspects. The cabin was perfect and supplied all of our needs, and luxuries as well. A 4 wheel drive is definitely required as there is limited access but that was not a problem. The wildlife was abundant, my wife and I saw several deer bobcats bobcats squirrels and an assortment of amazing birds. If you have any kind of a sense of adventure I highly recommend staying at this cabin, as I look forward to returning in the future.

After numerous attempts to contact the Evolve management team regarding the stay, and getting no response, we chose to make other plans. We were planning to celebrate a birthday over this weekend, and never received a response from the Evolve management team until they asked for a review. I would think twice before booking something with this management team again.
The owners of the property reached out with a standard welcome package the day before check in. They seemed very polite and nice, but by that point, we had made other plans thinking the reservation was off.
The fact that the owners reached out is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1.
Great owners, awful management.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin.. It's a very remote location that would have been difficult to find with GPS but the owner was very helpful by texting us a pin. We spent time walking our dogs on the mountain lanes around the property and visited the Natural Bridge. Future visitors should keep in mind that there are limited kitchen appliances and plan meals that use the gas grill or camp fire ring. We made campfire packet meals.
