  We stayed for 2 nights with another family. 9 people and 2 dogs. Most of the group went skiing at Chestnut Mountain, just a short drive away. We really liked being able to bring our dogs. Communication with the owner was easy. Towels and linens were provided, and the kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals. There weren’t enough kitchen table chairs despite having plenty of room around the table for more seating. We just pulled some porch chairs inside to make it work. It’s winter so we didn’t get to take advantage of the fire pit outside, but the hot tub was a special treat for the kids and it was a bonus that it was a bit protected by the upper deck. The home was a little pricey in my view because the beds weren’t very comfortable and the home needs some updating. But overall it served its purpose and we had a great time.

  I rented this house for my daughter’s 21st birthday. We walked in and instantly fell in love great location tons of room loved the hot tub. We went during living windows and the luminaries so it was super busy but this little place was a nice getaway. I’ve already decided that we’re going to book again next year and include more family and friends.

  We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and safe-feeling neighborhood home. Good accommodations and nice big dining room table for playing games. Hot tub was a nice feature too!

• The outside light did not work, The inside of the house was not as clean as I would expect.

  There was no outside light that worked. The dinning table was dirty. The grill has to be cleaned before we grilled on it. There were 7 people in my family that came. We had 3 full or queen bed plus 2 bunk beds that were very uncomfortable. We loved the area and want to come back but will look for a different place. I felt I left it cleaner then when I checked in.

  Hi Christine, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -We're sorry for the outside light issues, upon inspection one of the two lights had burned out and was replaced, and the other light turned on at dusk, while there was less light, it is working and shouldn't be a concern for future guests
  -With regards to the dining room table, unfortunately, previous guests have misused them and were notified by the professional cleaners they were not able to remove the scratch. We are working to have this sanded and refinished as soon as this concern was raised to ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded
  -Mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past, however, we apologize that you were not completely comfortable and that these specific mattresses did not suit your personal preference. While one of the mattresses had an air leak we addressed the issue, we’re sorry this impacted your stay
  -The home is professionally cleaned between guests, we'll collaborate with our cleaning team about the grill cleanliness
