Our family of seven adults convened at this home to celebrate my daughter's graduation from BSU over four nights. All of the kids commented on how "awesome" the house was, the kids ranging from 21 to 31. This home offered us comfortable gathering areas inside and out. The lighted outdoor patio was especially appreciated (we just couldn't figure out how to turn the outdoor fire pit on). The kitchen was well stocked with spices and accoutrements. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms sufficient. We appreciated the use of the garage for storing mountain bikes.
The home is like an art gallery, clearly highlighting the photography of the owner, a treat in and of itself. There were many interesting "exhibits" displayed for our viewing pleasure in fact. Each family member was intrigued to find a collection of one sort and another that they too were enamored with, whether it be an art book collection, a novel collection, a pop collection, or an arts journal collection, or artful and carefully curated display.
The home is certainly a bit worn, but this only served to make it a bit more cozy and accessible. The basket full of blankets next to the indoor fireplace helped with the cozy factor too!
It would have been wonderful to have access to a third bathroom with this large crowd, but the warmth and intrigue and beautiful landscape far outweighed any negative nuances.
Lovely and very comfortable accommodations. Well stocked and located in a beautiful area.
Well equipped kitchen

So...this is a beautiful home with a beautiful yard in a wonderful location. We rented the house thinking there was only one bathroom but there was an additional 3/4 bath. It was comfortable and well supplied. The disturbing things were just odd. There was a drawer in the kitchen filled with carboard toilet paper tubes. There were books in the bookshelf with bullet holes through them. Odd. The house really seemed like it is occupied and vacated temporarily, there were lots of personal things. There is a study filled with small building blocks so we had to close that off due to choking hazard for toddler. But it also has shelves of collector items with "Do Not Touch" signs. Kind of cool but weird for a rental. The only serious issue we had was that one of our family has an allergy to cats. By afternoon she was wheezing, had to take medication and leave. It did NOT smell of cats, and we saw no cat hair, but in the garage there was a litter box, so we surmised that is why she had a reaction. Overall, our stay was good and again it is a really lovely location very close to downtown Boise.

The property was nice. Got a call the day before our stay and learned there was no access to the master bedroom/bathroom (no where in description was this mentioned) but since there was ongoing remodeling of the guest bath (also not mentioned until the day before the trip!) they would open the master for use of the bathroom only. Also, the coffee maker had old used coffee in it and was absolutely filthy and needed a thorough wash. The house is nice and big and stayed comfortably cool with the a/c. Very comfortable stay. Only qualms were the very late notice about the bathroom, and the fact there were ZERO garbage bags so we had to go buy a pack because one was simply not enough for the length of our stay and the size of our party staying there.
