Our family of 4 adults stayed in this property 5 nights during my son's move into Boise State University. Although it's about a 15 minute drive from the college, we enjoyed the space and privacy compared to crowded hotel rooms. The property is an older, remodeled home with nice decor, outdoor space, and great air conditioning during the heat wave we experienced there. What we loved: clean, spacious, open plan living/ dining area with sunroom, 4 separate beds, nice TV, floor and ceiling fans, central air conditioning, updated bathroom, views of trees and green space, quiet area, convenient beverage cooler. What was not as nice: access to the property via a left turn across traffic to a downward sloping driveway (heed owner advice on this), "sticky" front and back doors that are hard to open, no storage space in master bedroom (such as chest of drawers or closet). Those storage areas are accessed via louvre doors to the adjacent bedroom and are not really available if that adjacent bedroom is being used. Overall, a great property that met our needs well and was WAY better than staying in a hotel.

Nice property, slightly off the beaten path, but nice.

This is the perfect home for a summer visit to Boise. The outdoor space is beautifully maintained and was perfect for us to have our family who lives in Boise over for a bar-b-que. There is lots of areas for sitting, a grassy area, and the chickens were a great hit with the little ones. The house itself is spacious with a large table and chairs in the dining room. We will be back!

We were quite comfortable here, and very glad of the fireplace when the weather turned cold and rainy! The backyard is fabulous and great for watching birds--beyond the chickens kept penned to one side! From the sunroom, we saw quail, hummingbirds, and more. A few things to note: It did take us a second to discover the drawer refrigerator and small separate freezer in the kitchen. And given that the instructions asked for taking the garbage and recycling to the street, having more details about what could be included in the recycling bin would have been nice. It would have been nice too to know that we didn't have access to the entire house. While the top floor serves as a complete home, we wondered if there was anyone living below--especially given the door to the stairwell marked Private only locked from one side. None of this marred our stay and we were happy to have such a convenient location to downtown and to family in the area.

This is an older home in a mature, quiet neighborhood. There are lovely trees all around the yard with many spots to sit and relax. The house was comfortable, but with some quirky features. There wasn't a real door between the queen room and the single bedroom, just a louver door so only minimal privacy. Also, the "futon" in the sunroom was quite broken down and uncomfortable so we bought a blow-up bed for our 6th person. Otherwise the sunroom was a really nice addition to the living area. We used the kitchen and the barbecue and all worked well. We loved the chickens on site as well as the many flowering plants.
