Great location
4/5 Great location at ground level. Minor issues - 2 soiled pillows on sofa & refrigerator water dispenser not working. I was surprised that Papakea Resort charged $17/day of stay to use the pool & hot tub. This is the first time in 40 years in HI I had to pay for this standard amenity.

Overflow space
5/5 We used this for overflow bed space/bathroom so really didn't use the unit beyond that. It is nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable. The kitchen nicely appointed and appears to have anything one might need. However, the fancy refrigerator is not connected to a water supply so there is no ice maker. A definite negative. Papakea is exceptional as a property/resort. It is possible to walk on the beach all the way to Black's Rock (about 1.5 miles).

4/5 Great location and easy ground floor access. Our unit, E110, was well furnished & clean. Detractions were inoperable filtered water on refrigerator and two soiled blue pillows on sofa. We were charged $17 per day to use the pool. First time in 40 years in HI we had to pay extra for pool.

-We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We wish you would have addressed these concerns during your stay as we would have addressed these immediately. We have not had any issues with the couch and it is not damaged or broken.
-We have investigated your pest concerns and sent out a professional team to treat the home so we can avoid any issues for future guests. Additionally, ss the home is located in Maui ((Lahaina/West side), ants can be prevalent due to the drought we are experiencing in the area and occasionally enter if doors are left open. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home and resort from these issues.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
