• Great get-away

  We enjoyed the large porch with the view of Brasstown Bald. The cabin was spacious with a well laid out kitchen and decently sized bathrooms. The top floor was nice in that it had a common area and a balcony that overlooked the downstairs living room. The driveway was a bit steep but do-able in a Chevy Traverse and a Nissan Altima.

  Easy check in/out. Very steep driveway - with rainy conditions this made navigating a challenge if you don’t have 4 wheel drive. Home was clean but there was an awful smell. Very musty, old, moth ball like smell. Thankfully we brought a couple candles so after airing the place out and a bath and body works candle lit for 4 hours it was better. However, you’d still get a whiff whenever entering or exiting. Also not sure why they even advertise the fire pit. No way was that accessible. There is no flat ground to walk around on- which was fine since it was rainy but w the fire pit we thought there’d be a small level spot. All in all a good stay minus the smell.

• Yikes!

  Very steep driveway. Covered in leaves. Our car could not make it up and we started sliding back down halfway up. An hour after calling they sent someone to blow off the driveway. Seems to me they knew we were coming and they could have had that done. My partner cut her leg open trying to get out of the car on the steep incline. Also one of the bathroom doors had been peed on by a previous dog guest and wasn’t clean

  -We take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark. We strive to give each guest a five-star experience. As beautiful as leaf season is up here in the mountains, they do cause steep driveways to become slick. We work with a lawn care company that regularly comes to the home to maintain the property. We were able to get a landscaper out within the hour to remove the leaves. There is an option for lower parking since some people do not feel comfortable driving up the hill
  -The cleaning team does its best to ensure a deep cleaning after a pet has stayed. Guests are asked to clean up after their pets however, we are sorry that an undetected smell impacted your stay, we believe this was a sincere oversight from a previous guest since this is not consistent with our cleaning expectations
  -We promptly responded and went to generous measures to make things right and did our best to address your concerns right away. We did not hear from you after you were able to make it up the driveway, we would have done everything we could to resolve any concern so that you can enjoy the home

• QUIET-COMFORTABLE-CONVENIENT

  Three Sr. couples stayed 4 nights. We had a great time in the area, and came back to the house witch was so comfortable.We had one small problem, we called the number, and it was fixed in less than an hour. Thank You for a great stay.

• Hiawassee stay

  We encountered bad weather and had to evacuate immediately after arrival. We were compensated the night by evolve. The towels are plush, showers were clean. The beds/bedding were comfortable

  Some concerns: Steep drive, no yard that was safe to walk, fire pit advertised was overgrown grass and no path to it. The upstairs fire stick did not work with tv, the upstairs bathroom had stain on wall next to commode and two unsightly stains on curtain. I had to clean the arms, backs and seats of the rocking chairs on the deck/porch prior to use. The light in refrigerator does not work, the floors throughout needed cleaning. The front porch floor had not been swept in some time as evidenced by leaves and dirt. The Mountain View's were occluded by trees. This was a disappointed as Mountain View was one of the priorities in choosing a rental. This house was more remote than My preference for location. I was surprised upon entering that the main floor and lay out was much smaller than anticipated.
