Relaxing lake vibes
4/5 Overall this is a nice property. The kitchen amenities in particular really stood out as the best our two families have ever experienced at a rental property! Elaine the property manager is also great, as is the handy man who promptly took care of a minor issue at the house. But the walk to, and especially back from, the lake is a doozy, and nothing in the property description comes close to saying what it's really like. There is a VERY steep incline down, most of which is just a dirt path, and it takes several minutes to get to the dock. There are also several loose boards and steps on the final stairway down. Young children or anyone with mobility issues would have a very hard time navigating the path, and it's not a situation where you can quickly run back up to the house if you forget something. But with that said, the house itself is quite nice, spacious, and very comfortable.

5/5 We enjoyed the truly "home" feeling here. The owner went above and beyond in providing supplies and amenities, like S'mores ingredients for the kids. Kitchen had everything a family would need. It wasn't situated as close to the lake as I had hoped, but the walking trail access was well maintained. Property manager Elaine was very courteous and gave us detailed information about the home and things to do in the area. Overall a very satisfying rental experience.
