We had a wonderful time in this lovely cabin. The two screened porches were amazing! The two king bedrooms on main level, 1 queen and 1 full on lower level were perfect for our group. We took advantage of the stocked kitchen to make a few meals while we were there. Be aware it is a long drive from the gates of the resort to the cabin and the roads are quite curvy. One neat thing about the resort are the deer! They are everywhere so be sure to drive carefully and look in all the yards to see them. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Owners response: "Kenton & Friends, Thanks for staying with us; we're glad you enjoyed Harrison's Hideout and hope you'll come back again soon to make more memories with your family and friends. Happy Fall! William & Marcella
Beautiful cabin, but it's a long winding road from the entrance. There were some areas that weren't cleaned very well, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful neighborhood

Response from owner: "Hello Michael, Our guests are very helpful and often load and unload the dishwasher to help out the cleaning crew. We requested pictures of what was missed during your pre-stay cleaning, but didn't receive any from you. We're glad you really enjoyed your stay and the peaceful and beautiful neighborhood of the River Resort. Come back to Harrison's Hideout any time!"
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The setting is lovely and very quiet. It was so fun to see the deer in the mornings and evenings from the screened porch. We loved relaxing around the fire pit after a day of activities in the area.

Response from owner: "Ryn, We're very glad you enjoyed staying at Harrison's Hideout. Come again; we'd love to have you!"
The cabin is wonderful! Had everything our family needed and more. The kids loved the game room, and we all enjoyed the large hot tub. Sitting on the porches and watching the deer was a highlight for us all. It really is amazing how freely they roam throughout the resort. This does not reflect on the property itself, but be advised the roads throughout the resort are narrow and winding. We did not have any issues finding the property, but it is a bit of a drive once you enter the resort. Just something to be aware of! Otherwise, it is an extremely nice and well-appointed cabin. Honestly the most well stocked property we have ever stayed at.
From the owners: "Connie, we are so glad your family enjoyed staying at Harrison's Hideout! We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll make Harrison's a tradition for your family, we love to have you as our guests again. Enjoy your Fall!"
This property is just like it's described. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The set up worked well for us. We were able to stay on the main floor with my parents that have trouble with stairs and our adult/teenagers had the bottom floor to theirselves. We did not get to use the amenities due to being at a softball tournament our entire stay that limited us to any down time. If you easily get car sick then the drive up to the cabin may not work for you. There are a lot of small windy roads and caused a few of us to get car sick. There was also a little confusion at the entry gate upon our arrival. But the owners quickly helped rimy that after I contacted them. It is in a great location for shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The only down to the property is the couch and chair in main living area were low to the ground and not made for bigger/taller people like our family. But definitely was a great stay!
