  Great cabin with hot tub. We were fortunate to be the only ones around...so private. Hot tub was so nice. Had a little cookout one night for dinner. Everything you think of when looking for a cabin in the woods.

  So, to sum it up...i arrived at the cabin and not key was in the lock box. It seems that the cabin was doubled booked and someone else was occuping the cabin.

  Hi Aja, thank you for your review! We always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: "Thank you for booking our property and for taking the time to give us some feedback, however the cabin was not double booked. We had a large group that had rented most of the cabins for that weekend including Honey Bee. The group requested to cancel a one-bedroom cabin close to the check-in date. A new agreement with the 'HoneyBee' was canceled and emails notifying them that 'HoneyBee' had been canceled, were sent to the coordinator of the group and the owner of the group. The key codes for all of the cabins had already been sent to the group, including 'HoneyBee' before the cancellation. The leader of the group mistakenly assigned one of her guests 'HoneyBee'. We were not aware that one of her guests was in this cabin since they had been sent emails alerting them of the cancellation of this cabin as well as a new agreement with this cabin not listed. We did have another one-bedroom open because the guest checked into the wrong cabin. The group was in a meeting so we were not able to identify quickly why someone was in this cabin. This cabin was reserved only for you on Evolve calendar and Sautee Mountain Retreat booking calendar. You were informed once we determined why someone was in the cabin and a full refund was issued. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience, but had no control over the group leader assigning one of her group members to the wrong cabin. We have made sure that there won't be any further concerns with the cabin being prepared for our guests. We strive to make the cabin a great, memorable experience for our guests and will continue to do so. Again we apologize for the inconvenience."

  Well one of the reasons we picked the place was the hot tub. The hot tub did not look like the pictures it has aged. When we got there it was ice cold and never got hot the first night at all. Also if you plan on cooking bring your own knives cause there knives couldn’t cut lettuce. Also do not plan on relying on the internet at all. It barely works for the tv and will not support any of your devices

  My spouse and I rented this cabin for an anniversary get away. The cabin was great! We had great communication with the host and they were helpful and responsive. The only small thing- the kitchen didn’t have a wine opener, but we should have brought our own! Also, I bet if I had asked the host for one they would have provided, we just didn’t think to ask.
