5/5 So cozy! The cabin was beautiful. While drinking coffee on the porch one morning 6 deer decided to cross over right in front of us. The outside fire pit area with the spring running behind it was so peaceful. It was a close drive in to Blue Ridge. This was the spring break getaway we needed!!

5/5 This little slice of heaven was everything we needed, even on a rainy long weekend. The creek provided hours of entertainment with our littles, 4 & 7. The cabin itself was as beautiful inside as it was outside. If you’re not a fan of driving up steep, winding, narrow roads, this is a cabin for you. It hadn’t crossed my mind when booking that— in order to have a view from the top of a mountain you would, in fact, have to drive up said mountain (this was our first trip to Blue Ridge). Instead, this was perfectly within our comfort zone and our kiddos could walk to and from the creek freely and safely without putting us on edge. Even with the rain every day we were still able to enjoy ourselves and sit in awe of the beautiful location and the sounds of the birds. We saw a family of deer crossing too. I may not be giving all the information needed for this review, I just can’t quite find the words. It really was hard to leave. We all had big tears driving away. Wonderful memories were made there so we will certainly be back.

Relaxing retreat
