5/5 This whimsical property had so many little decorations I remember from being a child around my grandparents homes. It was charming and homey. I wish the heaters worked a little better, but other than that I had a perfect time

COZY AND QUIET
2/5 THE APARTMENT WAS VERY SMALL AND COZY CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN AND ALOT OF BARS AND NIGHTLIFE. THE WIFI WOULD NOT WORK FOR US AND THE TV IN THE FRONT ROOM SOUND WAS BROKEN THEREFORE WE WERE UNABLE TO WATCH TV EXCEPT IN THE BEDROOM. THE STOVE WAS VERY ANTIQUE AND TOOK FOREVER TO HEAT UP ENOUGH TO COOK. THERE WERE NO CURTAINS OR BLINDS IN THE KITCHEN WHICH YOU COULD LOOK STRAIGHT INTO THE BATHROOM PASSING THE APARTMENT.
WE ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT D/T WHEN WE CAME HOME THE SECOND NIGHT THERE WAS A LIGHT ON IN THE BATHROOM IN A CLOSET THAT WE COULD NOT GET TO AND THE DOOR WAS LOCKED. THAT FREAKED OUT THE GIRLS FROM STAYING IN THE FRONT ROOM SO WE JUST PACKED UP AND HEADED HOME. THE PEOPLE IN THE MAIN HOUSE WERE OUTSIDE THE FIRST DAY WHEN WE ARRIVED AND STARED AT US STRANGLY AS WELL AS THE NEIGHBORS (MAY HAVE BEEN THAT WE WERE BLACK IN AN ALL WHITE NEIGHBORHOOD)

Hi Higgins, we're glad you enjoyed certain aspects of this home, but sorry your stay fell short in other areas. We passed your feedback onto the homeowner, who would like to share the following:
- I confirmed that the Wifi was working during your stay and was happy to provide the password for you.
- I also checked all TVs after your checkout, and each worked fine for me.
- I found no issues with the stove, and recent guests have not reported any either.
- I apologize if the hall light was on. Only our housekeeper has access to that area, and she must have left it on. I can assure you no one enters the apartment while guests are in residence.
- I am very sorry if you did not feel welcomed by the other guests. Virginia Highland is a mixed-race neighborhood, and that has never been a concern before.
