The house is adorable. The quintessential beach house.
It’s clean and “as advertised”
My critiques though are that 1. The pillows in the master bedroom are terrible. My 6yr old sleeps on better pillows every night. My Fiancé and I both had trouble getting sleep.
Next, the TV’s are new, but the the cable package/box/remote are from the early 2000’s. They have the absolute most bare minimum basic cable package available. ESPN was not even available. I would expect more from a vacation rental.
The Treasure Island Parking Enforcement are Nazi’s. We got 2 parking tickets in 48 hours. If you’re driving anything other than a small car, and have to park on the street you will likely end up getting parking enforcement called on you by the neighbors. There’s at least 1 Karen on the street who called on us twice in 2 days.
I trailered my boat 4 hours for our weekend get away, unless you’re bringing a skiff 18’ or less in OAL, you’re not parking it in the driveway… and you will get it a ticket with it on the street. (They attempted to tow my 100k boat… but I had the tongue locked so they couldn’t hook up to it)
The boat ramp that’s 2 blocks away is very shallow. And parking at that ramp is very very limited. If a boat is involved in your stay, I suggest looking elsewhere that is more accommodating.
Overall, we loved the house itself. It’s cute as a button and the price point was pretty fair. We both feel like better pillows and a better Tv setup in the living room and bedroom would have made this a 5 star review.
Obviously the owners can’t control who the neighbors are or that Treasure Island Parking Enforcement are Nazi’s. But if you do decide to stay here, you need to be aware that the neighbors will call on you for something as simple as parallel parking the wrong direction while you run inside to use the bathroom. In under 3 minutes we got a $60 parking ticket, payable immediately or it goes to $120
The property is in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Groceries are a mile down the road. We love sitting at the outside table for coffee or just to relax. The place was very clean and when we had a plumbing issue, it was taken care of very quickly. I would definitely go back!!!

Our flight was very delayed so we didn’t get to the house until very late at night. The pictures in the listing showcase the property well. It’s quaint & well decorated. The perfect location to beach access, dining & shopping. It was nice having beach chairs & coolers available. The kitchen is spacious & the living room had adequate seating for 4 people to relax & watch a bit of TV. Sine we hit FL during a cold streak some of us were cold at night so the extra blankets available came in handy. The bathroom wall across from the toilet needed a good washing. The bathroom floor wasn’t 100% clean upon arrival. There were a limited amount of bath towels. If you want more than 4, you will have to bring them with you or wash them in the provided washing machine (3 wash pods were provided) & dryer. If you stay here you will need to provide your own bathroom & kitchen hand soap, paper towels, hand towels for the kitchen & garbage bags (only 1 came with the rental). The remote control in the master bedroom did not have batteries so we could not use the TV. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay & would stay there again.
