This property was wonderful in most ways, and with just a handful of minor upgrades it would be a full 5 stars for us. We had a 5-night booking over Thanksgiving week, and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the property's positives during our stay.PROS: Clean, everything as shown in the pics, everything in working order, no issues checking in or communicating with manager, great location, good layout and plenty of space. It really is a nice place, very bright and up to date.CONS: We found that our issues were little things, probably not worth worrying about if you're there for a quick weekend, but they were noticeable during a longer stay. Towels were not too great, pretty small/thin and not enough of them for a family without doing multiple loads of laundry. Speaking of towels, a towel rack or hook would be quite welcome in the bathrooms, to let towels dry and keep them and other items off the sink counter. There was a bare minimum on some other items as well, such as toilet paper and kitchen trash bags - we ended up supplying our own by the time we checked out. Kitchen is described as fully stocked, but we found only 1 wine glass, a rusted and unusable can opener, no measuring cups/spoons or colander - it sounds like nit picking, but when you're paying for a "home away from home" property, basic kitchen items are not an unreasonable thing to expect. Not everyone actually cooks when they're on vacation so this might not be an issue for many folks. Because we were there over a holiday, we were cooking a lot and we didn't think to pack those smaller things since we've always found them at other similar rentals we've visited in the past. We had to purchase those as well to make our meals. There's a pod coffee maker, but only coffee pods (no tea or other choices) and there was only one type of coffee, so hopefully you like the one that's there and don't need decaf. Wi-Fi can be a bit patchy, especially with multiple users.Again, these are mostly nit-picky issues, but they would be pretty easy and inexpensive to fix. Little details make a lot of difference in a "home away from home" rental, especially if you're planning to use the kitchen for meals or staying for more than a couple of nights, and with that handful of things upgraded this would definitely be a full 5-star property. As it was, we thought it was a comfortable, clean, spacious place in good shape and in a good location, and we'd certainly stay there again.

Perfect place for us. 1 mile from my son. House is newly renovated and clean.

We were in town for a few days to move our daughter into FSU so it was a "working" trip and not a vacation. This house is very clean and tidy, although the neighbors had piles of garbage on the curb that sat for days. The inside is as pictured on the website - updated floors and a very functional living room/kitchen area. The AC and hot water all worked perfectly. Didn't try the washer/dryer. For our needs, it suited us. However, there are several things which missed the mark for a true VRBO property. The mattresses (all of them) were the squeakiest, noisiest, most uncomfortable we have ever encountered in a VRBO rental. By the third night, we were exhausted from lack of restful sleep on these beds. There are no TV's anywhere, except in the den - having TVs in the main living area or in the bedrooms to distract from the mattresses would have been nice. For these two reasons, I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, it's a good rental as long as you are forewarned about the mattresses!

Me and my friends loved the place. We also enjoyed how convenient it was to go to the store to buy last-minute necessities.
