I enjoyed staying at this cottage. Nice quiet neighborhood where I could easily bike to the bay. The owner Stan was very attentive and made sure I was not in need of anything. Only suggestions I would have are to have another mirror besides the bathroom, a grab bar in the shower and perhaps some more updated and comfortable bedding. Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy the outside of the property because the owner was still cleaning up from the hurricane. Overall I would recommend this as a nice comfortable place to stay on vacation.

Owner is on premises and is very nice and helpful. The cottage is small but cleverly designed. Kitchen is very well appointed, high end refrigerator and gas stove. Excellent wifi and tv connections and a nice desk arrangement for computer work. Comfortable bed. There is a mirror in the bathroom over the sink but another mirror in the cottage would be nice. Laundry appliances weren’t working, but owner allowed us to do laundry in his machines. The garden is very beautiful but it is shared with the owner who has various work projects going on. There are tools, small machines etc all around. Great neighbourhood, safe for walking -15 minute walk to food shops and Bayfront Park.

The owner is really nice and let me be which was nice and much needed for my stay. Only complaint was the place looked nothing like the photos. The fire pit/koi pond area was a mess and there was no steam room as listed in the description for that reason I was disappointed as it was misleading. I was looking forward to a nice steam room to relax in from time to time during my stay. Other than that I did enjoy my stay.

We're now digital nomads so we have lots of recent experience in AirBNBs and other rental properties. You don't often meet hosts in the days of Covid but Stan was a really nice guy who greeted us upon arrival and crossed our paths in the shared yard (which is more like a tropical paradise). The cottage and yard have more of a lived-in, work-in-progress vibe than the staged photos suggest, fyi, and there were some small things that needed to be fixed/ cleaned. Just talk to Stan if you have any issues. The location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants and is a short drive to the waterfronts. I formed a major crush on Sarasota during this trip and would consider staying here again.
The owner does a good job on the back yard with all the plants, waterfalls and fish! Location was great for the things we wanted to do.
