  We either needed more time or need to book again for another trip! My husband is a pilot and we flew right into the landing strip, taxi’d to the house. My husband and friends walked right out to the golf course for 18 holes while i grabbed a massage from Kathleen at KBV. Right across the airstrip. The area has a lot to offer. The home is beautiful with all kinds of things in the home to do if you don’t want to leave. Just book it, you will love it.

• Quiet, scenic and Perfect

  From the start of the booking, the owners communicated with great details on the property, the home was clean and seemed to have all the necessities and extras you could ask for in a stay. The property is and neighborhood is great, the pool was clean and we watched plane and plane takeoff and land from the back patio. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting Orange County or Daytona area. I would stay here before I stayed anywhere near the beach this neighborhood was cleaner, safer and quieter then anywhere we went in town.

  We celebrated our wonderful Bride to Be with a Florida stay. We found this gem of a property after weeks of searching and fell in love instantly! All of the wonderful amenities were top notch. The Bride to be works at the Naval Academy and we reveled in the daily air shows! Any questions or concerns were answered quickly by the property owners and their friendly, charismatic demeanor is something that sealed the “2 thumbs up” for us! I’ve talked nonstop about our stay that we may be looking to book again in the future! (Just my family of 5 next time)

• Worst getaway experience ever 👎👎👎👎👎

  This property is not at all what you would picture from its pictures!! My family was appalled by the conditions of this home, everything from roaches to bedbugs!!! The beds are not actual King beds, the are two beds pushed together with cheap motel dust covers. The pool/spa does not temperate heat as advertised. Overall this is a scam property!!!

  Hi Reshawn, the homeowner was surprised to read your review, and would like to clarify the following:
  -The claims in this review are false.
  -This guest attempted to extort/blackmail us, and they threatened a poor review if we didn't refund their money.
  -There were no bedbugs. We checked twice, and we paid a professional pest remediation company to come in and check the home a third time. They found palmetto bugs, common to Florida, due to these guests leaving doors and windows open.
  -We have paid a professional pest remediation company to completely clean the home and rid the home of all the insects.
  -This guest did not follow checkout procedures or house rules and left our home a mess. We spent over $4,000 restoring our home, from the pest remediation to fixing four broken locks, five broken blinds, and cigarette ashes that stained chairs and the pool table. Food was left out on the counter, food smeared on beds, trash all over our home, dirty dishes in the sink, and several other damaged items that had to be repaired before renting again.
  -They melted plastic on the glass cooktop, which had to be completely replaced. We received a call from our alarm/security system that a smoke alarm had gone off, and we called this guest to find out they "burned" something on the stove.
  -One of the evenings, this guest called and was unable to figure out the last four digits of their telephone number to enter into the digital lock. He proceeded to break the digital lock, the pool screen door lock, the slider door lock, and the slider door handle to break into the home.
  -When our maintenance person arrived at the home the next day to check the locks, they found that the home smelled of marijuana, and our property is non-smoking.
  - The "king beds" are indeed 2 connected beds, which equal the size of a king bed and allow for greater flexibility for families and guests who would like to separate the beds if they need to. All bedding for the separation is located in the 1st floor closet.
  - The "cheap" dust covers actually cost over $100 for each bed and are in place to ensure that our cleaning team can wash the covers between each guest's stay, ensuring that the beds are as clean as possible for each guest.
  - The spa is heated with clean solar energy for guests to enjoy. The solar heater is controlled by the tablet located in the kitchen. By using the full pool automation system, guests can control the pool lighting, spa jets/blower, solar heater, and pump controls. Directions for controlling the pool automation system are in the digital and print copies of the guest book.
  While we want guests to enjoy their stay, we ask that guests please be respectful of our rules and property. We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
