• Check in with the host was terrible

  I was assigned a host for my check in process and we checked in with him about a possible early check in. He ignored my text and calls. Finally a person called me back and cussed me asking why I was calling them and they had no idea what I wanted or why I was calling them. They had nothing to do with being my host. I was dialing the exact number I was giving on my email. I then got hung up on by this person and they called me back about 30 mins later asking what was question was and why I kept calling them in the beginning. I said you were assigned to me as a host and I was calling to see about an east check in. A female in the background then began to yell at me. So needless to say the check in process was misirable and we had to figure it out ourselves. Also walking into the info it stunk so bad. Definitely was smoked in before. The patio furniture was all rusted and needs to be replaced. Overall it was a decent stay. Definitely needs some work done and better communication with the actual host. To be cussed out by the number I was assigned if very unprofessional and unacceptable.

• Not as advertised

  To start off we arrived after a 14 hour drive with 4 kids to having to search for the reserved parking spot for an hour. We call our guest contact Rafat who was less than helpful. We told him we had walked the parking garage and couldn’t find the spot. He said he didn’t know and we would need to call someone else. It was 11pm at night and we had no one else to call. After talking to security at the entrance of the garage we were told that the 12th floor was blocked off and would have to pay for overnight parking which was approx 2.5 blocks and would be an additional $12/day. The unit floor was filthy. We swept and threw away a ton of dirt and sand that was left. The next day we were sent to the concierge desk and charged $115 for bracelets that are required to be worn during your stay. There was no mention of this mandatory fee in the listing description. The granite counter was cracked and being held up by a Jack. There was a hole in one of the bathroom doors. One closet didn’t have doors on it but they were leaning against the wall inside. Comforter in one of the room had numerous stains on it. Be prepared to bring trash bags and toilet paper because they only provide one roll for each bathroom and 1 trash bag, no dish soap, only 2 packets to run the dishwasher. There are no forks, 1 knife and several spoons. The pots and pans were still dirty and the cooking spoon still had food on it. It is a great location, gorgeous view but you get no assistance if needed.

• Quick get a way

  The resort was well kept and secure. There was a hidden $115 fee for arm bands. The room was not in the best repair. Broken chandelier, door had a hole in it and the countertop had a jack holding it up. There was lack of linen and towels for everyone to just bathe. Lastly if you planned on eating in there was not adequate utensils. But for the price I would do it again.
