    The place is in a good location with lovely views. Check in was a nightmare. Couldn't check-in till 4 pm and then had to go to go from place to place and queue to do admin before getting access. We went to reception, then to car attendant then to customer service, and back to parking attendants office. Customer service took ages. And a reasonable queue. Took about an hour so didn't get access to unit till after 5 pm. They also ran out of wristbands we were charged for and told to come back next day. Still none. You need wristbands to move around property to tricky managing with 2 when 4 people who might want to go to gym, it pool, or walk etc. Was tricky for us. Unit is dated but very clean and kitchen well stocked. View is lovely. For us it was out most expensive accommodation we have ever paid. We thought pricing was in AUD as from Australia and anytime we have used homeaway it had been AUD. But we were charged USD which was a huge huge shock. Just a warning. I will follow this up at home but doubt we will be able to do anything.

  • Nice unit but not an area for a relaxing vacation

    Very nice, well equipped and spaciius unit. Beautiful view. Owner very gracious. No complaints at all. Just didn't care for the area. Too busy and not much to do in immediate area. Parking was difficult. Should have done more research before staying in that part of Miami.

    My friends and I stayed at the grand in 2016 and had a horrible experience with a seller who failed us with fake advertising. The pictures were not what we saw in real life upon arrival sinks were broken and the A/C was out of order the whole trip. So you're thinking are you crazy to try Home Away again? Well after proper investigation that seller has been complained about and unfortunately since it was a private sale Home Away wasn't responsible for any compensation. Anyway so I saw this condo and yes I made sure it wasn't the same owner this time. My friends and I love the grand despite the disappointment with the seller. Free parking for our stay and mins away from south beach which my friends and I LOVE. The staff at the Grand nice too. So we said what the heck lets try it again and we did and were glad we did Dolres and her Daughter were nice and always a phone call away we had some last minute travel plans and she even extended our check out time. place was nice and clean. No false advertising what you see is true. my friends and I WILL STAY AT THE GRAND AGAIN.
