  We could not get in touch with our host before we arrived. When we did we found out the room was double booked. The hose moved us into the front second floor unit. This unit was filthy and had an outside shower wit an electrical extension cord in the shower. Shampoo and soap were placed on durty outdoor chairs in the shower. We paid extra for our dog and I have been in doggie daycares that have been cleaner than this place. Air conditioning was a window unit that froze us out of the room. The grounds were a mess and our view was overlooking this mess. The place needs a ton of work. We will not return.

  Never recvd check in info. Had to email and call and didn't recv until after the time of check in. There was no welcome book. Was 80 degrees when we got there. During the day the window unit never got below 75. And barely cooled beyond the kitchen. Middle of the night it was freezing. Bedroom had a floor unit and box fan so sounded like a jet engine and made it hard to sleep. There were no extra linens. Only 2 towels were provided. No trash bags or sponges were provided. No knives. The grill was blocked by a golf cart. The swim pool was empty with wood laying all over it. The yard was over grown. Hot tub was nice but jets didn't work or at least no instructions were left on how to turn them on and pushing the buttons didn't work. Patio furniture was dirty. Fire pit was full of debris. Outside sitting area was also dirty and no pillows were provided as pictured. First night a huge palmetto bug crawled out. Owners said it had to have been brought in and they are just everywhere. Bathroom had little ants and huge ants all over it. No ac reached there at all so you just sweated to death while in there and the water never got hot which I guess you never really needed. And one light switch in the living room controls all the lights in the whole place. So if one person goes to bed, the people in the living room doesn't get any light as the kitchen light doesn't work. The fridge also barely cools. By the end of the weekend our milk, mayo, cream cheese and yogurt had spoiled. A list was emailed to the owners about everything missing and the issues and they never responded to the email. It was a 30 min to drive to places so if you just need somewhere to sleep then should be fine. People were working while we were there and we were told they were making changes so maybe when they are done they can justify the price but honestly I want a refund for what I paid.
