  We were attending the Mecum auction so location was great. The pool area looked nice enough but pool furniture needs to be updated. The home needs more towels in the bathrooms. There was a bar of soap left in our shower, could have just been missed when cleaned idk. Also the cloths dryer needs some help, it took 3 cycles to dry our laundry. Overall I’d stay here again, but a few things need attention.

• Pool not ready for use

  The property manager was wonderful by letting us access the house early. He was quick to respond to the problems that would arise. The house was hotter than what was comfortable for my family but the register had a locked box over it. When we went out to look at the pool we quickly realized that it was not ready to be used. You could only see 1 ft down. There was visible green on the walls that we could see. It smelled like a hint of pond water. I sent a message to the property manager explaining that the pool needed to be scrubbed and shocked and I was worried that it would not be ready to use for the 3 days we would be there. I asked if they had any back up plans if the pool could not be usable. He quickly responded and said the pool guy had been out there the day before and said he shocked it and said to allow the filtration to do its job. He also said he would check on the air register. Well that is great but that did not answer my question if he had a back up plan and unfortunately while it was doing it's job our vacation clock was ticking. I'm a single mom which I explained and was on a tight budget. I rented the house to have a pool for my children and to have a kitchen to cook. I decided to make the best of it. I allowed the kids to get in the pool and told them to not allow water in their mouths. Their skin started to burning and itch so I had them get out. That night the house was so uncomfortable as it was hot and now I find the master BR ceiling fan did not work. That was resolved by the property manager Reimbursing me for a box fan and showing up early the next morning to put up a ceiling fan The following day my daughters hair felt like straw and was falling out to much when I brushed it. I cut off a lot of her hair. On the 2nd evening the pool was starting to clear so we were happy. When I let the kids get back into the pool that night it was over 100 degrees like a hot tub. I messaged again and shared that I was disappointed and also shared about my daughters hair. I was told that the pool guy had not been there that day and there were no chemicals put in there that day. Ok but the day before our first day is when she had gotten into the pool but whatever I just wanted the pool fixed before we left. It was not fixed and our vacation was not good. I feel like I was not treated fairly. I should have been offered a new place or reimbursed for what I did not get.
