  The property was as advertised. Clean, the beds were very comfortable, everything you needed in the kitchen to us was there. The communication with the property management needs to be improved somewhat. You don't know if your checked in until you actually show up at the gate. Was told I'd be emailed confirmation that we gave all the information they needed and did not receive that. Overall our trip was very good. We would rent this property again.

  Highly recommend this space for anyone that is looking to be convenient to the Disney parks, shopping and restaurants. Short, 10 minute drive to the Disney park/resorts area and traffic was never bad. The community is absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the clubhouse with pools, lazy river, waterslides, music, and great food/drinks. We also walked the property in the evenings and my little granddaughter loved looking at the sunsets, the ducks, and walking across the bridges, etc.The home itself was very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay including very comfortable beds, a wonderful patio overlooking the lake for coffee in the mornings, and a ground floor unit for convenience. Communication from the property manager was excellent. She responded within a few minutes of every message I sent her. She even provided us with daily hurricane updates as hurricane Ian was getting closer to the area. Overall, 10/10 rating and we will absolutely stay here again in the future!

• Decent but never again

  I'm not even sure where to start. When we got there everything looked amazing it was beautiful the community clubhouse was amazing and the pool was fantastic. The more I went around and actual looked at the house the more I didn't like it. Firstly there was no broom which is odd and there was absolutely no cleaning supplies at all which is strange for a really property and I've never been to one that didn't have cleaning supplies. Next we found molded coffee inside the 1 of 2 coffee machines, the other one had no pot. Went upstairs and half the remotes had dead batteries, the ps3 had no power cord and the hdmi cord was broken and the cable did not work. The living room blinds were broken and a horrible choking hazard for the 7 children we had, and to.save the best for last there are signs that tell you NOT to flush toilet paper, like what why, I am not throwing the poop covered toilet paper into the trash can. There were lots of things here and there that I just couldn't understand including a random battery that FELL from the ceiling in the laundry room and almost landed on my head. It's a beautiful house with potential but I am sorely disappointed and won't be back.

• Could’ve been better

  Was weary from the beginning as I sent the required registration form a week in advanced but received no response from Dunes regarding its receipt. Reached out 3 more times and was finally told we were all set. Arrive to check in and security had no record of me or my guests. Spent too much time back and forth with the management company to get it all squared away. Then Dunes didn’t list all guests with security, just drivers so those coming via Uber couldn’t get in. House was larger then anticipated but lacked basics. Master bedroom did not have sheets on the bed. We were staying for 2 weeks and was given 3 trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 dishwashing tablets and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. No hand soap, no salt and pepper, no bathroom hand soaps. Be prepared to make a trip to the store to get everything you need. Another note is these houses are extremely close together. There is zero privacy and you can literally see into the houses next door. Also if you get a package delivered, you are charged $10 to pickup by the clubhouse which was not advertised.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We apologize if there were any confusion about the property address but we're glad that there were no issues on entering the property. In regards to the lack of sheets in the room, we have communicated with the cleaner and they confirmed that there were an adequate amount of sheets for the guests. As is standard in the vacation rental industry, the owner provides a starter amount of toiletries and other essentials, and once that amount is out, it's typical for the guest to purchase more supplies. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
