• Clean, but needs more basics

  On the positive side, the place was clean and neat, plus it had a newer washer and dryer. Also, when we texted the contact regarding two issues, it was handled the following day. But the place needs some help.

  The bedroom we used had a bed and noting else. We used two folding chairs as night stands. The 2nd bedroom DID have a small patio table off to the side, but we preferred the other room. The kitchen had eating utensils + 2 small wooden spoons, 1 rubber spatula, 2 paring knives, a new pizza pan, 2 very used fry pans + a soup pot, along with a new Air Fryer. No basic cooking utensils or sauce pans (they delivered a pan when we asked). No MW, no toaster, no bowls for food prep. We made toast in the air fryer and

  finally found a box at the back of the sink cabinet with a set of plastic bowls.

  Also, the frig made a loud grinding noise the entire time the compressor ran, which quickly grew annoying.

  The owners sent a beautiful Edible fruit arrangement, but failed alert us. We found it 24 hrs later, ruined by the FL sun. (It was on the front porch...we were using the back door which was closer to the carport. Most upsetting were the bamboo roll up blinds at every window At night, they offer absolutely NO privacy whatsoever! We had to hang towels/plastic trash bags to keep outsiders from seeing inside.

  Last of all, the back yard was not a yard at all. Just mounds of weed covered sand. And there are two VERY dead evergreens on either side of the driveway when you turn in which don't make a very good first impression.

  I expect the owners will iron these issues out in the near future. But for now, I would not recommend staying unless you just want a place to sleep.
