• Great Wedding Weekend in Gainesville

  Enjoyed our four night stay here for a wedding in Gainesville. Very convenient to the wedding venue and locations of related events. Easy checkin and easy checkout. Good value. Close to downtown. Plenty of space. Comfortable facilities. Would stay here again if in Gainesville.

  This place can be deemed a 'college apartment' - not really meant for families that want the comfort of home. As others have said, the kitchen lacks basic essentials. Also, there were only towels for two people instead of four - and the bed linens were minimal. There were also other discomforts - ants in the bathtub, a broken shower door, poor water pressure (and not enough hot water for a family to take showers in the morning), and bad tasting tap water. The beds themselves were comfortable and there was a large TV + good internet. The furniture was lacking - in particular, there was no table for eating although clearly a place for one in the apartment. The biggest disappointment was that my 'local contact' could in fact not be contacted at all - so we could not resolve relatively small issues like more towels, a cutting board, wine opener, etc. For us, this was important - we visited from abroad and could not simply go to a store to buy these things. Also the apartment is near a busy street - a pet peeve of mine. I would not go there again only for that but I booked quickly and should have seen from the location information but just noting for people that might be adverse to being near a busy street/car noise.
