• Great Family Vacation

  The House was in a great location. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the rivers. The house was perfect for accommodating our large family. We used the Kayaks and life preservers. We rented boats from Captain Bob and we could dock at the property. Which was very convenient. We had a few small issues which were immediately resolved by property manager. Will rent this house again!

  We were very dissapointed. This home lacks major cleanliness, mold on furniture outside, broken furniture, dirty BBQ grill. Rusty appliances, old linen and towels. Broken glass. Plumbing issues. Bugs, old pots and dishes. We were there 3 nites and had to leave. Pictures are not what it truly is. Still awaiting for thr remainder of my funds.

  Rita, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We have begun working with a new cleaning company since your stay to ensure that future guests do not share your experience. We also followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -We are sorry to hear about your level of discomfort due to the apparent issues that you have mentioned. As soon as we were made aware of the cleaning issues, our cleaner was scheduled to go to the property and reservice the house. You refused the service during your stay but we made sure to inspect all other issues you informed us of.
  -A plumbing service had tried to replicate the issues you described but they could not diagnose anything specific. A drain company was dispatched and even went to the roof to go through a vent to clear the laundry line but nothing was found.
  -There were no critters found inside the house but our cleaners will be paying close attention to this potential factor.
  -The dishes and pots are not old but we'll be sure to monitor their condition. Our towels are less than six months old; the linens, bedspreads, and pillows are even newer. The windows are all brand new and there was no broken glass found upon inspection. We replaced the two broken patio chairs you were referring to; thank you for bringing that to our attention. The outside cushions were not moldy but they did have some traces of green algae that must have fallen from the trees due to the rain; they have been cleaned.
  -In conclusion, our new cleaner went through and deep cleaned the unit and will be paying close attention to all the different areas of the property that you had concerns about.

• Excellent location

  The backyard was amazing. We had kayaks to play with + rented a boat to go down the Rainbow River. Very well kept outside but inside needs a bit of TLC. The house was perfect for all our needs and did not spend much time there as much as we did touring the surrounding areas. Nice big home inside to accommodate all our needs but the house keeper needs to do a better job. I contacted the owner to tell them but did not to elaborate on what we found upon arrival. Nothing serious I just thought she needed to know ! I'm very grateful to have found this place + would give it another shot later on down the road when I come back to visit again !
