• Perfect weekend getaway!

  Loved this place! Very clean and well appointed. Our daughter loved the built in bunk beds. Location was perfect as you are steps from the beach. Balcony is the perfect spot to relax with amazing ocean views. Every imaginable store and restaurant close by as well.

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this condo.

  Upon arrival we noticed brown stains on bedding. The shower does not drain so water backs up in the tub while showering. I contacted the host about it and all she told me was “sheets are in the dresser”. Didn’t acknowledge anything else. The next day we were locked out of the condo bc the keyless lock went dead. I couldn’t get a hold of host because her voicemail was full so I text her. We waited 2+ hours for someone to come let us in. Couldn’t get an exact time someone would be there. Finally a locksmith showed up and fixed it. Later that night we noticed cockroaches dead and alive throughout the condo. That was enough to gross us out. We packed up that night and left. We requested a full refund but property owner said he would give us half back. Would not recommend this property to anyone unless you want to live with cockroaches and have very poor help by the host. Complete waste of time & money and not relaxing at all.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We have very high standards for our property, and we sincerely apologize that cleanliness issues impacted your stay. We recently had the building sprayed by professional pest management from the HOA and our individual condo was sprayed twice before your arrival. Rest assure that the pest problem is under control. In regards to the lock, we're sorry that there was an issue in gaining entry. The lock is fairly new but suddenly stopped working. Once we were made aware of the issue, we immediately responded and had a locksmith assist to have the lock changed. The property now has a whole new lock so it doesn't become an issue for future guests. We are very confident in the service that our Guest Contact provides for our guests and we're sorry that there were any concerns. Cleanliness is highly important to us and we always have clean sheets on the beds along with extra blankets and pillows in storage. Our property has received a large number of glowing 5-star reviews from previous guests. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

• Roaches and filthy

  This property has a roach infestation and is in shambles. From broken door latches, filthy air filter, finding dirty childrens underwear tucked on the side of the bed and bread crumbs covering the pull out sofa this is the worst experience using Vrbo. The property manager/owner issued a refund after day 2. We checked out not wanting to live amongst the roaches but was almost impossible to find another place to sleep during peak season in Destin, FL. VRBO was not able to booked me another condo but instead send me google searches of possible hotels with an opening. My family and I almost had to sleep in the car but at 10:30 pm found a room at the Hampton Inn. Which completely changed our family vacation days f staying in a beach side condo to a hotel. We were not able to cook breakfast and lunches costing us so much more money in eating out. I will be leaving a picture review (roaches and all) shortly. Thanks for nothing

  Response from owner: "I am sorry your stay was not as planned. The property is very well maintained as detailed in many other reviews. The broken door latch on the inside was fixed immediately. This did not impact your safety as the door knob did lock. The AC filters are changed monthly by the property maintenance person. The undergarments belonged to your guests as stated to our property manager during her conversation with you. The entire complex is sprayed inside and outside for insects quarterly. Florida has many types of insects due to the moisture and heat. There is not an infestation. A refund was issued to you!"
