  Home was nice. Television channel selection not good. No major networks. Kitchen was not stocked well enough to be able to properly cook meals. Unit needs a bigger coffeemaker. Four cup pot not sufficient for multiple adults drinking coffee.

• Excellent Host in Davenport FL

  We live on Long Island, NY and this was our first one month of living in Florida. Our host Marie was simply excellent. She was always there if we needed anything, like extra linens, kitchen stuff and she even upgraded a TV, when we did not like what we had.The house is located in a gated community, about 45 miles from Orlando. It had a passkey entry to the main gate and also a passkey entry to the house and garage. Downstairs was pretty big with a family room, eat-in kitcehn counter, table and a formal dining area. The kitchen was big and cooking there was a pleasure. There was an outside sitting area in the back. This place does not have a pool, in a way that makes it safe for family with young kids, you do not have to worry about them running into pool without supervision.The Upstairs has 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a fullsize bed, a master tub and a stand-in shower. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. There is a common bathroom for all the areas upstairs. Upstairs also has a small sit-in area with a TV.The house is in a diverse ethnic neighborhood, which we liked and the fellow residents in this 100 house complex were very friendly. The place is about 10 miles south of I-4, which is a major East-West artery. It is about an hour and a half to 2 hours, (depending on traffic) to Cocoa beach on the East and to Tampa/Clearwater beaches on the west.Publix supermarket complex that includes Italian, Chinese take-out places, UPS store is about 2 miles out. An excellent hospital is also about 2 miles out. Hines City, south of Davenport has a lot of restaurents including some very good Spanish restaurants. La Fiesta Mexicana is outstanding that one should visit. USPS, gas stations are about 3 miles out. Orlando downtown via backroads is about an hour out.All in all it was a memorable experience and we highly recommend this place to other Vrbo customers. Thanks Marie for everything!

• Beautiful Home

  Such a beautiful home and definitely enjoyed the stay. There were a few issues but the response was quick and easy and taken care that same day so definitely appreciate communication and response.
