Comfy cottage near the springs
5/5 Gary was an excellent host. Awaiting us when we arrived, he offered the key and invited us to reach out with questions if needed. The property was very clean and comfortable. This one’s a sure bet if you’re looking for some R and R!

Location Break
5/5 Gary and his wife always do a great job hosting. The Cottage is very well taken care of and clean. It’s in a location that is peaceful area just outside the town of Crystal River. The price is reasonable. It feels like home.
One of our favorite stays!
5/5 Everything was as expected or better. If you have any concern about the host living on property, don’t. Gary is a wonderful host who gives you as much space as you want. This cottage is very comfortable and quiet.

Peaceful and relaxing week
5/5 Enjoyed ourselves in spite of truck problems.
Host Gary was a pleasure and there whenever we needed and invisible if we did not need.
Charlotte is a loving energetic loves everyone type of dog, our Ceara (Australian Shepherd) enjoyed meeting and playing with her. The house was everything advertised and more. Convent to all the springs and sights.
Some really good places to eat our favorite was the pizza joint in a gas station but brick oven pizza and calzones done right!
Enjoyed the manatee tour with River Ventures in Crystal River, although most of the manatee had left the local permanent group gave us a good visit.
Enjoyed the deer in the neighborhood as we came and went saw quite a few in various fields, even had one next to Gary’s house feeding in his side yard!
Weather was perfect no rain during the day, warm but a breeze most of the time, the morning we lift temps drop drastically as we packed up but that is a driving day so truck heater worked well. Tampa is about two hours away so we’re able to visit friends without any major issues.
Definitely enjoyed the muffins they were a good welcome present.
Definitely worth another visit and still so much more to see next trip.
Gary loves what he is doing and you can tell he wants you to enjoy your stay, willing to help anyway he can.
Highly recommend staying here when you are in the area.
