• Not all we were promised and no attemp to make good

  We arrived to a pitch black home and property with incorrect information as to where the key was. When I called the guest contact, she was not even aware we were to arrive that day and didn't even know if the home was clean. She asked us to check if it had been cleaned. The entry was so dark my 80 year old mother almost fell. Unsafe!

  Inside, the home was nearly 90° because it had not been prepared for our arrival. It wasn't 76° until 3-4:00am. We moved in early to have our home A/C replaced. So, paying for an extra night to be unable to sleep was ridiculous. We live in this neighborhood so we could've saved $300 and stayed home that night. We were told to put the fans on. Ridiculous.

  The issues didn't stop there, the guest room tv didn't work & when reported, was removed and we were told we'd just have to do without. Same w/ ice maker-we were told to buy ice. Here for 8 days with family flying in from out of town to celebrate my moms 80th Birthday. So, they didn't have cars to shop. Screen had cuts so Pool was full of gnats. Tub is rusty, baths not updated as stated. Low toilets not good for elderly.

  House was nicely decorated but we were quite disappointed to not receive the listed amenities, no offer to correct, or to compensate. A dozen other homes in this neighborhood for sale price and possibly will live up to the listing which was not accurate. What a shame!!

  Hi Suzanne, thanks for letting us know about your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following:
  -"Regarding the outside lights weren't on is that the guest changed their length of stay last minute, and Evolve's email to our manager came too late for them to turn on the lights. The manager promptly welcomed the guests upon their arrival.
  -As for the A/C, it's typically set at 83 degrees when no guests are at the property. Unfortunately, we didn't know guests were arriving, and the A/C wasn't adjusted in time to cool the house. When it was adjusted, it worked perfectly.
  -In one bedroom, the original controller was missing, making it impossible to reprogram the set. We tried to reprogram with another controller, but it didn't work due to the TV's age. We've decided to replace it. There are three other functioning TVs in the house.
  -The icemaker functions properly, and our manager verified this upon arrival. However, it might not have been adequate for the needs of 8 people hosting a party. Please note that we typically do not supply ice for parties.
  -The hole in the screen was not brought to our attention, and we were not aware of any holes in the screens before the guests arrived.
  -Our advertisement accurately reflects the property, and we take pride in offering a clean, fully stocked house with everything in working order. The manager attended to the guests' concerns with three visits during their stay. We have a history of 5-star ratings, positive reviews, and a guestbook filled with compliments. While it's regrettable that these guests experienced disappointment, we ensured that all the amenities listed in the advertisement were available during their stay."

• Comfortable Large Pool Home

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this well-appointed home in a nice quiet neighborhood. The laundry room and beach gear came in extremely handy. We enjoyed every aspect of the home. I would definitely stay here again!! The location is great and only a short ride to the beach.
