• Girls Trip!

  We went to Tampa for a golf trip to get out of the Minnesota winter!! The house was darling and just the right size for us all to hang out. Sitting by the pool and having the lake behind us was super relaxing. Would definitely stay there again!

• Lower end rental extremely overpriced

  Beds uncomfortable- lighting dim- lightbulbs missing - no mirrors except bathroom- chipped paint- blinds broken- air conditioning didn’t work- cluttered and old furniture patio area/uncleanliness outside - bedroom furnishings leftovers like college students house -

  Main bedroom suite was nice

  Kitchen granite counter tops and nice fridge

  Exterior entry way and pool area needed a deep cleaning - pool screen door the screen was broken off door

  No welcome package with notes -

  Moldy shower curtain - stained pillows -

  Honestly we were disappointed -

  Owner lived [location removed] and controlled thermostat from her house

  Had to ask for wash clothes, hand towels, kitchen towels , toilet paper etc

  Dryer took 3 cycles for small lightweight load

  Needs more prep work - and better mattresses - no place to set luggage on in bedrooms except floor -

  +Owner did offer us her coolers and each chairs to borrow

  Not enough lounge area around tv for 7 people

  We think this could be a great house if owner invested time , energy and money into making this a great place.

  With beds uncomfortable and air conditioning not working it made for a miserable stay-

  Manager's Response:

  Hi LT, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry to hear certain aspects of your trip fell short of your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:
  - We know that mattress preference is unique to each guest, and we were sorry to hear that you weren’t comfortable during your stay. The king bed is a memory foam only a few months old, and the others are regular mattresses in good condition.
  - The owner had the AC serviced. The service worker said the AC was overworked, which caused the condensation on the windows. This has been addresses and shouldn't be an issue for future guests.
  - The pool is serviced and cleaned every week. The owner confirmed the screen door is working, but some bugs did come into the pool area due to the rain. They offered to clean the pool, but this was denied by your group.
  - The owner has replaced the shower curtain and pillows with brand new ones.
  - The owner was in communication with your group regarding the thermostat and called a service company to ask about the issue. The owner did adjust the thermostat once to help prevent the AC from overworking.
  - The owner provides a starter pack of supplies but was happy to bring over beach towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, and extra toilet paper.
  - We wish you would have reached out to the owner regarding the dryer. They would have been more than to help. Since your stay, the dryer has been used with no issues.
  - The owner will look into adding additional seating to the lounge area.
  The owner recently remodeled the home and put great effort into upkeeping the property for guests to enjoy. We look forward to this home hosting many great stays!
