Typical Old Florida House
3/5 The home is very old and the backyard was not somewhere you would want to hangout. The furniture was unstable, games were broke and dock area by the water looked like a dumping ground for old stuff. The kitchen was nice and there was seating for the family but the living room furniture was something I had in college. If you are looking for a place for one/two nights this is ok but not for a vacation or long stay. There are nicer rentals in the area.

Heidi, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: "We strive to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay for all our guests. As you can tell from our previous reviews, this experience is not the norm.
-The housing stock in the Bayshore garden is all built in the 1950s style Florida block house. Our home was newly renovated with 2 new bathrooms and a new kitchen in 2022. It is on the older side, but we take great care to ensure it meets our high standards.
-We placed white limestones in the backyard and planted palm trees to create a calming experience. In addition, we replaced the patio set in February 2023. We're sorry to hear that our backyard design and gardening work did not meet your preferences. Our other guests seem to enjoy it very much sitting in the back and watching wildlife in the canal.
-The living room furniture is what is shown in the listing pictures. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!"Very great vacation home, right on the Bay and near all the Beaches..!!
5/5 You will get all the experience in one place for sure.. kayak ,fishing , beaches and etc.. I would recommend this property.!!!!!!!!!
