Renters beware… When we arrived at the property, it clearly had not been cleaned nor up-kept. There was mold inside the bathroom wall. Bloodstains on the underside of the comforter in the room our 3-year-old daughter was staying in (which we then realized, had actually been turned over so the underside was up in attempt to hide the blood stains). Dirt and dust, spiders and multiple HUGE cockroaches, plus dead ones. We saw at least 3 scurrying across the floor in our 1 day there. The owner said the exterminator didn’t come the prior month (but seemed like there has never been one..). We asked her to come by, she said she was going to, then cancelled and didn’t come. Needless to stay, we did not complete our stay there and ended up having to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. I would not recommend this property.

Hi Anonymous, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We're disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
- We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest stay and when you reached out we promptly responded and offered to come back to the home and address any issues or concerns you may have had, to which you politely declined. It was later determined the "blood" stain was in fact a chocolate stain, this has since been taken care of by our cleaning service.
- We can assure you and future guests that the stain on the bathroom wall, was a stain caused by a previous guest's stay, however, this has since been addressed and the wall repainted.
- We use a professional pest control company that treats the property twice a month, and due to the location of our home and being in Florida, some bugs are prevalent, I offered to come to the property to address your concerns, to which again you politely declined and stated your husband had taken care of the issue, however, we contacted our pest control services for additional treatment.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Not the best but not terrible

The location of the home was perfect for who we were visiting and the places we were going. Great area and quiet neighborhood. The inside of the house was fine but nothing great. Could use a better clean, everything just seemed sticky and not well kept. Owner was responsive when needed.
