• Clean and cozy

  We chose to stay at this location during my daughters field hockey tournament. It was a bit of a drive (30-35min ) to DE Sports complex- but we didn't mind! The house itself is in a very quiet neighborhood. It's well equipped and spacious inside. I would definitely recommend! We did venture to the Rehobeth boardwalk area once (it was so cold this weekend ). That was an easy drive.

• A Very Nice Vacation House

  Great time with the family. Had to deal with some road construction for a few days which delayed getting into Rehoboth. But all in all a wonderful family vacation.

  Nice property and located near Coastal Route 1. Amazingly quiet and friendly neighborhood. Spacious house and comfortable beds. Living area is dark as we always had to have lights on. I think this is due to large trees on the property. Kitchen well stocked. Easy communication with owners, as they were quick to reply to questions. Easy check in and check out!

  We enjoyed our stay with a very clean, centrally located home. We took daily dips in the private pool to cool down after a hot day at the beach. We also had a surprise treat delivered mid-week courtesy of the home owner. This was among our top home stays in our 20 years of vacationing in the Rehoboth area.

• Not what we'd hoped for.

  The location of this home is very convenient to the beach and other amenities. There are some nice improvements to the interior of the home although, the living room is quite dark and dank and the furniture there uncomfortable due to wear and tear. There are two nice porches, but they are not well furnished for comfort. The rooms were nice, the beds were decently comfortable but the bedspreads in the some of the rooms didn't seem clean and we found prescription pills on the floor of the bedroom the first day. Some room darkening curtains in the bedrooms would be helpful for more restful vacation sleep. The kitchen was well enough appointed, the dishes were cheap but served their purpose while the pans and utensils were quite nice. The water was not hooked up to the refrigerator filter, so we purchased water for drinking. There was a grill in good repair and clean and that's the last nice thing I can say about the yard. Among other things lighting is poor, it's not landscaped at all, there were poop bags on the property, and we found a joint tip on the ground. Not that I'm a prude but I had kids there. Most disappointingly we reserved in March and when we arrived on a Sunday in June the pool was not safe to swim in. We had to spend time on our vacation waiting for someone to service the pool and it was not safe to swim in until Wednesday afternoon which felt like a miracle after what it looked like on arrival. In addition to being very dirty with algae and debris the pump was not properly grounded (according to the professional pool person) and a hazard. Overall, I can see effort going into the interior of this property and has potential but the communication with the owner was misleading at best and the condition of the pool (the only reason we chose the home) really put a damper on our family's vacation. Do not recommend.
