  It did not look like the pictures, low ceilings, no rugs, some of the baseboard heaters did not work.

There are no photos showing any rugs, as there are none, and we did not consider them to be necessary. We will look into the baseboard heaters to see if there is an issue that needs to be addressed. • Fantastic stay in Steamboat!

  This condo was perfect for our family! Clean and stylish, with everything we needed. The location was wonderful as it was a short walk to the base of the ski area, where they had a wonderful river area for the kiddos to play. We really enjoyed the pool, which is very close to this unit. The porch was a nice place to eat outdoors.

  Great communication from Evolve, we had all the information we needed. Thank you for a memorable trip to Steamboat - FIVE STARS for this property!!

  This condo was an amazing find and fit our little group perfectly!! It is right next door to the pool so that was a huge plus. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

• Great location but poorly remodeled and won’t pass inspection!

  The lodge staff and location were great! The condo is being remodeled by the owner or a terrible contractor. It isn’t finished or done well. There were bottle caps and dust bunnies under the beds. The shower in the second bathroom was installed incorrectly and leaks all over the floor. But the mountain is great and we had a good time.

They have replaced the shower door and addressed the cleanliness concerns. They assured us that the remodel was done professionally, and the condo is ready for guests! • Poor quality - don't rent.

  This specific condo was under construction. It was horrific. I rented the unit next door for extended family. It was 50% cheaper (why, I don't know - but I was hoping this until was amazing due to the rent price). Let me start with the Pro's.PRO's:-Evolve the mgmt company was very understanding of my disappointment and frustration. I provided pictures and examples on how miserable this condo was. -Location is great to walk to the village.-Front desk staff is nice to chat with-The TV worked. -They had cards for us to play with-Master bed was comfortable.CONS:-The listing pictures don't represent the condo.-The couch was missing (they replaced with a foam coach that folded out onto the floor). Owner never brought additional seating- as he told Evolve he would.-The coffee table was missing (it was outside the stairwell..but then it disappeared before we went to grab it and bring it in the condo)-The electrical box was pulled out of the wall. Still tried to use them to use the hair dryer.-There were just a lightbulb screwed into the ceiling - no light fixture covering the bulb.-The tile in the masterbath was cut out - then shoved back in and some carpet was wedged in there to keep it from moving.-The guest shower door was bigger than the shower space....so water dripped out all over the floor.-Quality of towels were from dollar store.-The trim in this place was horrible and missing.-Some trim above the door....was actually door jam trim with the hinge trim etched out.-The walls only had drywall primer on them in master bath, missing paint in certain areas. Large spakle patches everywhere.-Elecrical outlets had missing screws in the outlet covers-The master bathroom door provided no privacy. It's like a kindergartner was given nails and nailed together a door to hang. -Guest bedroom had 2 horribly uncomfortable beds. -The doors for the guest bedrooms were too short for the space- leaving a 4" gap. Just bizarre.-The flooring bends and lifts when you walk on it in certain areas. (pinches feet if your not careful)**Sadly - this condo is not completed. It has the most horrific construction/carpentry work I've ever seen. Evolve tried to make it right - but it's just not finished. Doesn't reflect the photos in VRBO listing.

  Hi Lisa, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:
  - Prior to your arrival, the property was recently remolded, and there were a few differences between the listing photos and the condo. However, the changes were to improve the property for guests to have the most enjoyable stay.
  - The owners ordered a brand new couch, but unfortunately, the couch was smaller than they expected. That new couch has since been replaced with another new regular-size couch.
  - The coffee table didn’t fit with the new furniture so it was removed. It was outside waiting to be picked up, and it must have been picked up during your stay.
  - The owner made every effort to purchase more seating to help accommodate your group's needs. Unfortunately, since it was Christmas and all stores had supply shortages, they were not able to find any additional furniture.
  - The shower door that had been installed during the remodel did not fit properly and has since been replaced.
  - The bathroom door is a barn door, and it is meant to look rustic, but we're sorry if it didn't suit your preference.
  - The tile floor in the bathroom is that way because it leads to a trap door for the crawlspace. The contractor suggested this was the best option, however, the owner is trying to find a new solution to improve the floor.
  The owners have worked hard on the remodel to try and provide guests with the best possible stay!
