  Overall, the house was pretty good. Plenty of space for 8 people, house was nice, and it was easy to walk to the slopes or hop on the bus. However, communication with the host was very bad. Prior to the trip, I was given multiple email addresses to communicate with which was confusing and I didn't get a response from any of them when I had a question. Also, the kitchen was lacking some staples so make sure to bring whatever you might need for cooking.

• Steamboat family spring break trip

  Had a great stay at condo. Easy access on bus route to slopes and overall main room area accommodated our family of 7. Kitchen has all you need to cook meals. Views out windows are nice of the valley. Be sure

  To check the room arrangements that it will work for your party. Stairs are quite a distance

  Between floors. Right when you walk in there are 2 bedrooms. One has a double bed so maybe it’s good for a teenager. It’s dungeon like in this room but does have its own bathroom. Then next

  To that is a room with 2 full beds. Good for kids or teenagers. It can be colder on this floor in winter but suspect it’s fine in summer. Upstairs is the main room with kitchen and no beds on this floor. Like others have said could use a tv in main room. Then you take another big flight of

  Stairs and King and queen room are upstairs. It’s an older unit but it’s clean and kitchen is great for meals. Rooms have bathtub like showers but they are hotel like in nature. King room has an ice

  Convenient for hanging out and close

  To bus stop this is it. Literally the bus is at end of

  Driveway to take you to resort in 5 minutes. Not though at end of day it’s the last

  Stop so it will take 20-30 minutes to get back. Was nice though not to pay for parking at ski resort. Close to restaurants and maybe 10 minute walk to ski resort. No side walks in winter but figure this will be clear in summer months. Steamboat had so much snow this year it was a bit abnormal but we skied in powder a few days and family was happy.

• Expectations

  When we arrived the place was REALLY dirty! The first 3 days of our vacation was spent working with management company to get a number of things fixed. The owners and property management were very responsive but we should not have had to deal with this issue. Condo has a really good location relative to the mountain. The two upstairs bedrooms are nice. Kitchen has good pots and pans/knives for any cook. Furnished very nicely w working fireplace. Lower level has a bit to be desired. One room is like sleeping in a cave, one small stream of light. The other room is fine. Overall I would give it a 4/5 rating after everything was cleaned. If you rent it make sure it is cleaned well and ask for firewood. Those little woods bundles from the Store get expensive!

  - The condo is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival, and the owner was happy to send the cleaners back to the property to reclean any areas that you felt needed more attention.
  The owner is also working with the property manager to ensure that future guests have a clean and comfortable stay.
  - Throughout your extended visit, the owner remained in communication with you and did their best to accommodate your needs. They had an extra carpet cleaning done, delivered additional kitchen items upon request, provided extra firewood, and had a couple of minor maintenance items taken care of so that you could enjoy the home.
  The owner does all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
