• Great Location, super convenient!

  We had a great time staying at "The Lonesome Bear". It was perfectly listed and had everything we needed. Having a carport or garage during the snowy season is a HUGE bonus. Its a short drive to Wolf Creek from the cabin, maybe 30mins with good weather. Also, the contact for this property was super helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out one night and she answered immediately and helped us out. A+ on that deal! We loved it and will be back!

• Holiday lane rental

  Good morning. We have loved our time at your property. Overall it was perfect for our needs. We did have a few things we felt like you would want to be aware of as an owner.1. The master bedroom remote does not work. 2. You ask people to not sign out of your media services but we got kicked off because someone else was using the same tv service as we were logged in. We did log out of Amazon and Disney plus bc it would not allow us to use your login. We logged in with our passwords but logged back out before leaving. You might need to rethink creating a guest account for your guests. 3. When we arrived, the password for the wifi was not correct. We had to request it. I wrote the new one in your book. 4. Your smoke alarms need attention. The go off a lot. Sometimes when the shower steam comes out. Overall everything else was great. As a homeowner myself, I thought you’d want to know these concerns. • Great stay, and a few small things needed for the old folks

  The lonely bear was a lovely oasis for my cousin and I and our elderly mother's while we attended to the estate of my late uncle. We liked being outside of town and set back a bit from the highway traffic. Dish washer and washing machine worked great. We were comfortable and had enough space for the four of us to sort through lots of my uncle's stuff. My elderly aunt wanted me to be sure to mention to the owners that the showers would benefit from a grip bar or too for the older folks, as one has to step over the edge of the tub and there's nothing to hold on to but the shower curtain (eeek!). Don't worry - no one fell. She also wanted me to to mention that there were also some sharp edges at the ends of the stair rails that resulted in one cut. Thanks again for a great stay!

• Would stay again!

  This is a newer rental, I believe. The owner has a good start on providing everything anyone could need. We would recommend more seating on the deck though. I contacted the owner because I could not access the Internet with my laptop. I never heard back from them. I was able to access Wi-Fi on my phone.
