  • Stay in Pagosa

    4/5

Basically a very nice property looked just like the pictures. A little short on basic amenities like tissue, garbage bags and pantry. Lighting could be better and parking is in short supply hi. Not much information on streaming services. But the furnishings were comfortable and management was very helpful. Would stay there again.

Very nice location pictures accurately reflect the condo. Parking leaves a little to be desired and lighting in and out needs to be brighter. Very well stocked kitchen. Management responsive. Would stay there again.

  • Dishonest & neglected, but otherwise beautiful

    2/5

Beautiful location, well-built, but sadly neglected. Listing lies by omission, review criticisms unaddressed for years, amenities dirty and broken. Wife used to clean vacation rentals, would have lost her job for this condition. Manager's Response:

From the owner: "As short-term rental owners who take pride in ownership, we must refute this review of our wonderful Pagosa Springs property. We visited our townhouse immediately before this guest checked in and everything was left pristine and in good working order. If you look beyond this review, you will see that we have an overall 4 ½ star rating.

We have two new fans that we used during our stay and both were working properly when we left. There is no water damage on the ceiling and certainly no mold. We have two hard-working women who maintain our home and are very prideful in how it is cleaned for incoming guests. Having said that, the carpet was definitely vacuumed before this guest arrived. Our bathtubs, fixtures, and stove are neither broken nor filthy and there are no holes in our walls. My husband worked remotely for two weeks while we were in town and had no internet issues. Our kitchen is stocked with almost every kitchen gadget you could want and the knives are not dull. We cooked while we were in town and the knives were sharp and easy to use. Additionally, we keep an electric knife sharpener in the pantry. Our pillows do not “smell bad” and the beds themselves are very comfortable and cozy. We recently purchased plush towels and they in no way, shape, or form resemble “floor mats.” Our soap dispensers are filled with soap, not hand sanitizer and the bottles are always refilled after each guest leaves. No fixtures or rods are loose and there is no paint splattered on the doors. The door frames are not heavily scratched and the switch labels are perfectly legible. Oddly enough, the only positive comment that was made concerned “great neighbors.” When we reached out to our neighbors to inquire about interactions between the renter and them, we were informed that there had been no communication between them.

Whenever we come to town, we make a point of replacing things that are tattered or worn. On our recent visit, we changed out the shower liners in both bathrooms, replaced the coffeemaker and iron, and provided new hangers. We always try to put ourselves in the renter’s shoes and attempt to make their stay as comfortable as possible. It is always such a pleasure to read the lovely comments that people write in our guest book thanking us for great accommodations. We ask that if you have considered booking your Pagosa Springs stay with us that you read ALL the other reviews that have earned us our 4 ½ star rating."

  • Beautiful views in quiet location

    5/5

Convenient location for hiking trails, restaurants nearby and City Market. Amazing views of the mountains--we ate on the deck most nights. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds. We hiked every day, soaked at Healing Water hot springs and went tubing in the river. A perfect vacation!

  • Pagosa rental

    4/5

My family thoroughly enjoyed the place we stayed at, the pond out back with the wildlife that came including the mama deer and her two babies and the family of skunks will be something we always remember and the townhome was nice but it could use with a little updating and maybe a little better cleaning there was a coffee machine but not a Keurig machine one of the outlets in the bedroom was falling out of the wall and there’s quite a few areas that looks like they have not been dusted in quite some time but other than that overall we had a really nice time there
