Wonderful home!
5/5 We had a wonderful stay! The description of the home was accurate and the home was very clean! You really can’t get any closer to the entrance of Mesa Verde NP than this home! Beautifully situated on 5 acres. We saw mule deer and loved the screened in porches. Amenities close by in both Cortez and Mancos! We would love to come back!!
Loved our stay!
5/5 We chose this property for its fantastic location— five minutes (maybe less?) from Mesa Verde National Park! It is tucked into a quiet, wooded area yet is only minutes from the highway, which provided the perfect jumping off point for our many adventures. In addition to MVNP were able to visit Cortez, Canyons of the Ancients, Hovenweep, Durango, Honeyville, and Ouray. (Some don’t-miss activities: the Durango-Silverton Steam Train, horseback riding with Canyon Trails Ranch near Cortez, Yellow Car Winery in Cortez, and fantastic hiking in Sand Canyon, Ouray, and Mesa Verde).
The house itself is wonderfully clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and is stocked with all the cookware and appliances we needed to make our own meals. Note for coffee lovers: in addition to the Keurig coffee maker listed, there is now a new Cuisinart drip coffee maker for those of us who like to brew a pot. 😊
The master bedroom is spacious and the king bed is cozy. We loved the wonderful morning light in the master bath and enjoyed the large jetted tub for post-hike soaking.
The large wraparound screened porch was oh-so-tempting, but alas, the April temperatures were a bit too chilly for us to linger there. We intend to make full use of it when we visit in a warmer time of year. We did use the outdoor grill, however, and it made great burgers!
Our guest contact, Christine, is an outstanding host! Any questions we had were immediately and graciously answered. It was clear that our comfort and enjoyment were her top priority. Thank you, Christine, for making our Mancos experience so wonderful— we will definitely be back!
Another Great Trip
5/5 This was our second trip to the Mancos house. Always clean and comfortable. We have 7 in our family. Kids have plenty of room to play outside and inside. Outdoor patios are a wonderful bonus.

5/5 We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home near Mancos. It was perfect for the 4 of us. They even had the Christmas tree and outdoor lights up! We would definitely stay there again.
