Awesome trip

Visited my son and his family in Highlands Place, CO. Not easy to find a place that will accept 3 dogs. But the place we had with Sarah in Littleton, CO was perfect. She accepted our pets and the place had a fenced in yard. Very comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood. I will definitely want to stay there again.

Read before you book

The neighborhood is nice and everything you need is conveniently located close by. However, the back yard is the nicest part of the property. One of the beds is extremely loud when you move slightly which forced one of the guests to unfortunately choose to sleep on the couch. We tried to use the oven, however we had a strong gas smell from the stove (which we were told was fine due to their being a sensor that would tell us if the gas levels were too high HA). As someone who has gas, I would prefer not to have to air out my home for 3 hours to get rid of the smell. The handle in the bathroom shower falls off when you turn the water on and their are dog urine stains on the couch. Itâ€™s a cute enough place and itâ€™s pretty comfortable in the one bedroom and the living space, however, not being able to use a bed or the full kitchen wasnâ€™t great. Upon telling the owner, they thanked me for letting them know about the problems I had so they could fix it for the next guest with no help to resolve the issues I personally had. Keep it all in mind when you decide to book.

Hi Kate, the homeowners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and they'd like to clarify the following:
- I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at the property. As discussed, we do take comments very seriously and have made adjustments according to your feedback.
- The property/stay comes with a local contact that is accessible to address any of your concerns with the property. Unfortunately, all of these issues were mentioned after your stay, and we were therefore not able to rectify the elements that you were dissatisfied with.
- Even though no other guests have had these complaints, we still took action to assess and address what you brought to our attention. To ensure the safety of the following guests, an appliance repair man came to the property to evaluate the gas concern with the oven.
- Our cleaner reported that the shower faucet works by pushing and rotating the nozzle, and when pulled, it does have the potential to come off. Although this has never been debilitating to shower function, we made efforts to make it more secure for future guests.
- The cleaner was unable to find the couch stains, and unfortunately, you did not have pictures to support this comment. Although there have not been complaints about the comfort or squeakiness of the full-sized bed, we took this opportunity to upgrade to a new queen bed and new bed frame to avoid any displeasure in the future.
Future travelers, we take pride in hosting happy renters and will do everything we can to provide an easy, pleasant, and comfortable stay, which is evident in all our other great reviews. However, on the off chance that something is not as advertised, it is critical to notify us as soon as possible.

We drove to town from Utah to see a Denver Bronco game. The house was perfect, the yard was perfect; very homey. Close to downtown Littleton, and to Denver. The stay was great!

The house was in good condition, the neighborhood was quiet. Perfect place to stay and be within an hour or so to hiking and biking trails and to the mountains.

We really enjoyed our 5 night's at Sarah's gem - we had kids and dogs and both LOVED the large backyard. The house was clean, easy and in a great location to DTC and very central to travel all over the Denver metro area. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
