  • Location, location, location...amazing!

    What a perfect location in Grand Lake to enjoy hiking, the lake, and downtown. The loft is accessed by a ladder, so take that into consideration, but it is fantastic. The master bedroom has so much space! All the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Check-in and check out were simple and quick. We didn't hang out at the cabin much but we could've stayed another couple of days as the out door seating looked inviting! My friend kept commenting on how perfect the place was suited for our girl's trip. And within five minutes of trailheads and the lake. I highly recommend this place!

    This is an ideal location to stay in Grand Lake. Perfect to walk to town or the lake. We really enjoyed our time, especially the back porch swing.

  • Great Location Near Everything

    My best friend and I had a great stay at this cabin! I agree with other reviewers that the loft area is accessible only by a steep ladder. We loved sitting at the kitchen table, playing cards & listening to the hummingbirds. We were also disappointed that the chimnea pictured is nowhere to be found on the property (we brought a lot of firewood from home) & the grasses out front look as though they could use a lawn mower. But other than that, we loved our stay!

    Response from owner: "Thank you for your stay. I love all the humming birds. Yes, the stairs to the loft are steep hence the note in the description. We removed the chimney temporarily due to the East Troublesome fire, however we have added it back with better fire protection. Sorry you brought all the firewood. We also had the yard mowed. Appreciate the feedback and Thank you for your stay!"

  • Cozy cabin in perfect location

    My 3 girlfriends and I spent a weekend in GL and loved the cabin. It was spacious enough for 4 people, a lot of comfortable seating in the sitting room. Dining table was very small (we ate in both nights). The location 2 blocks from Grand Ave is perfect for a stroll to the lake or to the shops. MIND: The stairs to the loft are VERY steep - not for small children or elderly people! It's more like a ladder. The communication was a little complicated: The location of the entrance key was changed and not described properly. When we wanted to leave, we did not know what to do with the trash and ended up taking it home: It was supposed to go in some dumpsters in the alley, but they were all locked. I called three phone numbers to get more info where exactly to put the trash but never got hold of anybody.
