• A very TIRED cabin

  Not much positive I can say about this house. It iss poorly maintained and is very tired due to a lack of maintenance and upkeep. Trash was in the overgrown yard when we arrived. Beds were old and uncomfortable and furnishings appeared to be obtained from garage sale leftovers. Did I mention the mice that nibbled through my food? Definitely would not recommend for the asking price.

• Felt Abandoned

  From mice inside, to left over bags of trash from who knows when, to random left over or lost-and-found type stuff in cabinets, to dirty bathtub and fridge, to a missing cable box (you won’t get channels you’re used to getting), to severely over grown weeds outside, this place really feels like your staying in a place that hasn’t been touched in years. It’s surprising to see recent positive reviews. And yes, we emailed the property manager and had zero response. And emailed Evolve too with our concerns and have received no reply. There are more things that went wrong, but the list is long enough for you to get the gist.

  We're sorry that the property didn't meet your expectations. This year, large amounts of rain in the area have caused more growth than usual, and more wildlife is looking for shelter. We have had the property grounds mowed and straightened up and have successfully dealt with the mice issue.

• Beautiful property!

  The house was close to the lake and had amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. It was also between Granby and Grand Lake and just 15min from Rocky Mountain National Park. The house was clean and inviting and was perfect for our stay. Had lots of wildlife visit which was really cool.

• Home away from home

  We had a wonderful time using this house as a base to explore Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. It's great for two couples because the bedrooms are in separate parts of the house. The kitchen is fully (actually more than fully!) equipped so we enjoyed cooking our own meals. The owner was in the process of changing some of the property management details and contacted us directly before our arrival to be sure we had all the information needed. I don't know his future plans for management, but I can vouch for his attentiveness to details. We learned that he and his wife use the home from time to time themselves and it does have that nice homey feel. The photos do a good job of capturing the house and views - although there are signs of the October 2020 forest fire on the road from Granby and in the park, this neighborhood and lake views were not affected.

• A great retreat from the hustle busel!

  The lady overseeing the property was very cordial ,and attentiveto making are stay comfortable. Plenty of room,and well furnished with things to make the stay easier to adjust to. "This a Great place to get away from it all".
