    After reading other reviews we were expecting a decent place to stay but were not expecting it to be as great as it was. There is talk of cigarette smells but this unit smelled great and was perfectly clean. It had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in at a vacation rental, and it's a murphy bed. The complex was not crowded which was good for visiting the hot tubs. It was very convenient to park right outside the unit. The kitchen is perfectly functional for 2 adults to prepare meals. The location was great for skiing Winter Park and visiting RMNP. We did not know that Granby is one of the coldest places in the lower 48, it was awesome. The host sent us a gift bag a few days into the stay, I'm estimating the value at $100 (it had good stuff including alcohol). Granby is one of the most friendly places we've ever visited. The staff, other guests, and people around town are all wonderful. With mountain towns growing in popularity (and price) this place is a hidden gem. We're already trying to find time to go back. Thanks for a great time!

  • Like a hotel room but a little better except the beds

    We enjoyed this room but it barely slept 4. The room has a murphy bed and futon. It was okay for 2 adults and 2 kids but would not sleep 4 adults.

  • Granby stay

    Overall, our stay was good, except for the unusable broken chair and the cigarette smell in the bathroom. It probably entered through the vent. I recommend teaching the maintenance crew to pay close attention to details.
