When the snow starts to fall each winter, locals flock to the fantastic nearby ski resorts to get their turns in. The condo is conveniently located within 2 minutes of the Ski Granby Ranch Resort and only 15 minutes from the Winter Park and Mary Jane ski areas!
There are plenty of delicious local restaurants in the area to enjoy the nights that you're not cooking at the condo. Some of the top local options include Granby Ranch Grill, Maverick's Grille, Java Lava Cafe, Grand Elk Ranch & Club, Heck’s Tavern, Mid Town Cafe, and the Tabernash Tavern for any of your special occasions.
During the summertime, you'll love exploring this outdoor lover's paradise with your travel companions. The Ski Granby Ranch resort also doubles as a top-notch mountain biking and hiking spot for anyone interested in some physical activity. Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake, and Rocky Mountain National Park are an easy drive from the property (Grand Lake is furthest at a 29-minute drive).
Some other ideas for fun while you're in town include golfing at the Grand Elk Golf Club, biking the Granby to Fraser Trail, or exploring one of the quaint small town cities nearby the condo. The homeowners love skiing Winter Park in the winter and playing bingo in the park on Saturdays in the summer or visiting one of the local reservoirs in the area to go fishing!
