  How stay was everything we wanted and needed it to be. The owners and staff went above and beyond our expectations, going out of their way to accommodated us and our large party. Plenty of activities on sight and nearby to keep us busy, not to mention a perfect location to relax and soak in the beautiful scenery of this location. Thank you!!!

  We reserved the lodge for our family of 21. We celebrated Thanksgiving and my birthday here. There was lots of space and this worked out well for the size of our group. The owners and the staff were very friendly and eager to help with any quesitons. We were a little confused by the setup and it took us a little bit to get comfortable with everything since the most of the lodge is public and it's kind of like a hotel with shared public spaces and separate rooms. The kitchen was our biggest challenge since we planned to have a big Thanksgiving dinner. it was a very small kitchen and was located behind the commercial kitchen and we also shared this with the staff that lived on property. There was no dishwasher so we found ourselves doing dishes quite a bit. We all felt that a better decription of the property would have been very helpful. This lodge could use some updating. The pool, hot tub and fireplace in the main room was a really nice feature and was enjoyed by everyone in the group. Overall everthing worked out.

  - We make it clear on our lisitng that while guests rent out the entire lodge, there are still staff on-site and a cafe that is open to the public. We've added additonal wording to our listing to denote this.
  - In our communication ahead of your stay, we were able to let you know the specifics of the kitchen, including the fact that it does not include a dishwasher so we were surprised to read this concern in your review.
  - We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs. We look forward to hosting many satisfied guests!
