Spacious winter getaway
5/5 The house is maintained very well and kept squeaky clean!! It was easy to access, no crazy steep driveway or rough roads, even though we rented an AWD vehicle and there was lots of snow, we had no problem getting to and from. The house is spacious especially the upstairs master bed &bath, one could easily put Kids in sleeping bags or crib inside the room without making it tight. A real plus was the mudroom/laundry room right off the entrance to store all of our winter gear! The only thing that didnt work was the DVD player, I was going to binge Downton Abbey while my guys were ice fishing at Antero. I would recommend replacing that since the house has the Lord of the Rings & Hobbit collections in its library. During our stay a private snow plow came and plowed the driveway all the way to the front entrance steps which we really appreciated!! One thing: when you put in the code for the front door you have to press the “lock” symbol for it to actually unlock. It took us a little to figure it out when we got there. Although the towels were very plush, the washcloths need replacing desperately, they were almost paper thin.
