Ski trip to breckenridgeSpent time with family and dogs. Pretty secluded. More people came during th weekend. There are surrounding cabins. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer dryer was convenient. Loved the fire burning stove/heater. Nice view with balcony on top and bottom floor. 15 min from grocery store. Recommend 4wd to ge there. WiFi was slow

We loved the cabin so much! The area is breathtaking. We went on the most beautiful snowshoe just a mile or so up the road. The cabin can fit many people so comfortably and it was so cozy. We felt right at home and wished we could have stayed longer!

We spent a great week at the cabin with two adult couples. The two story setup with two living rooms worked great for everyone to have their own space when we wanted. We spent fun times making meals, eating, playing board games, watching movies together, and walking down the roads near the house. The cabin is higher elevation than we're used to, around 11,000 feet up, and we had trouble adjusting during our stay. Take it easy, especially the first day! We've stayed in Fairplay and Alma before without much trouble but the cabin was higher than previous stays. We had fresh snow a few days and it was a beautiful scene. You get fantastic views driving up to the house of snow capped mountains. Definitely recommend/need 4WD during winter and taking the last few miles of the road in very slow, especially on a couple hairpin turns. The first few miles in were plowed after each snow. The last mile up to the house wasn't plowed until our last night. They plowed the driveway then too which made it easier to get out. From the upper story of the house you can see the top of some peaks from the living room, kitchen, and balcony. Once you're to the main road, you're minutes from Fairplay and Alma with great access to the surrounding areas. Only an hour from Mount Princeton Hot Springs and less time to Breckenridge. Super quiet neighborhood. We hardly saw anyone around even though there are houses nearby. It feels more secluded with the tall pines surrounding all of the properties. The house was warm and comfortable. Beds were okay. The pull out couch downstairs was horribly uncomfortable. We did experience the noisy fridge frequently which hopefully gets fixed or replaced. Wifi and cell service worked great. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Not the greatest quality but had nearly everything we wanted. Plenty of supplies and staples are provided including extra blankets, pillows, towels, etc. I reached out to the local property manager a few times and received responses quickly. All in all, we enjoyed our relaxing week and made some wonderful memories celebrating New Year's together.
