This super cute victorian was perfect for my group of 6. There was plenty of space and Bobby was really communicative to ensure we had everything we need. It is only a few blocks from 5 points and easy to walk around.
From the owner:
"Thank thank you Sydney!!! A true pleasure to have you and your guests!"
I really loved the house's decor and the location. However, my guests & I experienced issues Saturday, and primarily Sunday....My guests and I were all experiencing asthma attacks, difficulty breathing, stuffy noses, and watery/itchy eyes, etc. which seemed to be a reaction to dust or mold inside of the house. Once we went outside, we all felt better. It effected us so much so, that we left Sunday mid-day instead of Monday morning as planned. I reached out to the host via VRBO to rectify the problem but he never responded to my message. I then had to go through Evolve, and VRBO to get a response, which took hours of my time & weeks to get a response. The host said I didn’t have sufficient evidence for a refund. How am I supposed to visually show (they asked for photos) that we were having difficulty breathing and felt unsafe in the house? I reached out less than 48 hours later once I was no longer irate about the conditions that drove us out early. I left a great review on the Evolve website, and did not mention this previously, as I thought the owner could easily be unaware of the concern (this listing is new). I regret booking this listing & will avoid booking with this host in all future travels. I do not feel that my issue was rectified & my and my guests’ trip was cut short, yet paid for in full. I have never had an issue with a vacation rental before and am hoping this is the only issue I’ll ever have to deal with.

Owner's response: "Hi Maggie,
I am sorry for the negative experience you had at our rental. I can assure you, had you reached out to me directly, this would have been addressed. I gave you my personal cell phone when you checked in. I also followed up with a text message on Saturday, March 18th at 10:54 A.M. but I never heard back from you. However, I can certainly understand the frustration of reaching out to both companies and not hearing back in a timely matter.
Best Regards,
Bobby"
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Victorian, nestled in the Historic Five Points neighborhood with close access to the RiNo and Downtown neighborhoods. The house has a group-friendly layout, with a sizeable dining table and kitchen. The host, Bobby, was extremely accommodating and provided every essential you need at a rental as well as some great recommendations around the area. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable, and the house itself is charming with cute antiques and decor that the owners sell! The neighborhood was quiet as well with rental Scooters and Bikes readily available around the block. Would definitely recommend it to any family, group, or couple exploring the Denver area.
From Owner: Thanks for all of your kind words Murphy! Truly a pleasure having you and your guests stay at the old Victorian! Please come back whenever you visit my friend!!
Cute, quirky house. Close to downtown and to the zoo. Owner was very nice.
We loved the location of the house. It was close to lots of dining, clean park with playground and night life. The house was clean and had all the charm of an old Victorian house. Only complaint, we had our 1.5 year old and there were many breakables we had to move but not a problem.

"From the owner": "Thank you Eliese! Yes, lots of little knick-knacks for sure. We will definitely have to think about how to keep the toddlers safe from them. Appreciate your kind words!"
