  • Awesome home near everything and safe

    We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as listed. This is a pet friendly home, so you will see minor evidence of pets that have come through, but overall really clean. The turf in the backyard is great. Patio area is great. Easy to reach Carly the POC for the property. Communication was seamless. You can walk to nearby parks, lakes, bars, stores and golf course. 35-45 minute drive to Cebtral City, Blackhawk, and even closer to Red Rocks and downtown Denver. Would definitely go back if able to.gas at the nearby Safeway is also the best priced (diesel). We easily parked our sprinter van out front, unable to park In alley driveway due to low hanging wires and trees, but expected in suck a beautiful place. Loved it!!!!

  • It was not ready for prime time players

    The home itself is absolutely beautiful We spent the first night in our car, it was 17/degrees. No one called us back to help us into the home. not a good indication for these seasoned rental home travelers. Day 2 - we got into the home @ 2pmwe literally had to hammer the key into the lock with a rock.we never left the home because we could not lock the home with the key provided no hot water no internet all the out door furniture was soaking wet, it had snowedthe back gate is falling off the fence, the side gate is so flimsy we never tried to use it the windows in the front of the home are so filthy you don’t need to open the drapes or close them for that matter..there is no drivewayI could go on but what is the point. The owner was annoyed and took it out on us, the renters.

    Hi Constance, we wanted to pass along the following response from the owners: "While we are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, the statements you have made are not accurate.
    -You did not contact anyone from Evolve, our primary local contact, or even us (the owners) until 5:45 the morning of the 11th, even though you were provided all of the necessary contact information before your stay.
    -The key also had no problems, as we had both a handyman and our primary contact stop by and confirm it worked without issue.
    -Regarding the internet and hot water, you refused to let someone in to check on the house the 2nd day, but on the 3rd the handyman was let in and confirmed both were working just fine. We were able to ping the internet remotely the whole time.
    -Regarding the chairs - it had just snowed, and they are outside chairs.
    -Both gates operate just fine, unless they are opened the incorrect way, facing out - which was what happened in this case.
    -The windows were cleaned the day before you arrived.
    -Regarding parking, it is correct that there is no driveway, as we live in inner-city Denver, but there is ample street parking and an open spot for the home in the back.
    -Finally, this renter's attitude was harassing throughout the stay. We took over a dozen calls which veered between outright swearing, threats, and aggression, to stating you planned on staying at the
    property in the future because you loved it so much. We went above and beyond trying to make you happy, and never took anything out on you. We called our primary contact, our handyman, and a neighbor multiple times all to help be responsive to your ever-evolving concerns. You either refused to allow them to examine the issue or it was proven to be untrue."
