• Amazing winter holiday

  BEST Vrbo stay ever. Everything was perfect, even the snow timing. :-)Home was an eclectic mix of antique character, bold decorations and contemporary upgrades. We arrived just in time for a snow storm so spent most of our time inside our home here.Everything exceeded expectations. Can only begin to list. 1. Check in. Winter storm was expected at check in, Mike graciously moved the cleaners up so we could check in early. So we were settled in before the first snowfall. Texas car sat in the garage the while time, so ready to go. Fast EV charger in the garage a great bonus. Key pad access was quick and easy.2. Welcoming: Generous welcome basket with plenty of options for when we did not want to go out. Plenty of staples (shampoo, tp, soap, olive oil, sugar, paper towels, pans, dishes, linens, extra blankets,...) so we did not have to go anywhere up take care of our needs. 3. Quality: Everything was of great quality--luxury hotel rather than rental. The towels were of the quality that most people save for their own home, not for renters. Modern kitchen had all the amenities: Crock pot, Keurig for making singles and pots of coffee, dozens of coffee and creamer flavor options, modern stainless appliances that looked brand new, comfortable beds and furniture, good heating and water. Wi-Fi was easy to acces and fast.4. Location: Perfect location less than 1/2 mile from several cafes, gift shops, casinos,.. Just a few steps from the Catholic church and the haunted St. Nicholas Hotel that we visited for drinks at the bar and a tour. Cripple Creek was beautiful, interesting and and charming as we strolled the area.5. Communication: Mike was wonderful about getting back to me immediately. He always send the extra milemile. We were especially appreciative about the early check in because neither my car not it's drivers are comfortable I winter storms.6. Techie fun: There was so much to do without leaving! Game room (foosball, air hockey, darts, ping pong, board games, smart tv,...) and then several techie gizmos that wdw entertaining as well as functional: remote activated lights, bedroom light fixture with hidden ceiling fan, luxurious bath and shower with plenty of height and water flow. Yard was fun to play in the snow and have easy access inside again. The back door allowed us to strip off our shoes and wet stuff right next to the washer-very handy.Great trip. Every detail was perfectly taken care of for our perfect stay. We will be back!
